And another club interested in Mario. and yes its another Italian club , who ,if a deal is done ,want Liverpool to cover part of his wages...Nothing new there
      an extract from the article>>

The main obstacle to signing the player remain his wages, as Balotelli earns a whopping €6m yearly with Liverpool. Unless the Premier League club is willing to cover a part of his wages, it's unlikely that the Biancocelesti will consider him.

On the other hand, if Liverpool cover part of that burden in a loan deal, it is believed that Coach Inzaghi would take the move in consideration, as he is intrigued by Balotelli's potential.

      "Hello, is that anybody?"

      "Yes"

"Hi, Liverpool football club here, we've got a player to sell"

      "Is it balotelli?"

"Yup, well pay you £10m to take him"

      "Fuckoff, bell end"

      The end.

I'll take him for £10m. He can hang out in my backyard and juggle if he'd like, so long as he doesn't get the cops called.

Ok, transfer the cash to my account and I'll sort it out, no refunds, whatsoever. Even if the deal doesn't come off.

I will however supply you with access to funds I have in place in your name at the bank of Uganda to the tune of $100m, my friend.

Sounds like a fantastic deal, way too good to turn that down!  :lmao:

I guess we are waiting on a "real offer" for Mario too but in his case that is probably just any offer.

If only Brendan Rodgers had been able to get the best from him; eh?  :lmao:  :lmao:

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Favre suggested he wanted Balotelli to “be an example to young players” as he suggested a high work rate on the field would also be a requirement.

“If it goes well with the rest of the team, he is an example for young players and that it works, it is not a problem for a club,” stated Favre.

“I do not know him personally, but if he runs and helps the team, why not? If he does not run, then there is no way for him to come here.”

Just heard, French League 1, Nice, talking to him over move,  not sure if it's a permanent or a loan.   I'm not a businessman, but I would dare to say, if we do sell them, we are definitely taking a hit on what we payed for him.

Liverpool's working hard to find Mario Balotelli a new club in the final days of the summer transfer window, and ambitious Ligue 1 outfit Nice has emerged as the favourite to sign the 26-year-old striker.

Balotelli was reportedly considering a move to Swiss club Sion on loan, but the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce believes the Italian was granted permission to negotiate with Nice on Thursday.

The controversial Italian has been training with the reserves since returning to Merseyside from an unsuccessful season-long loan at AC Milan. He has scored just two league goals over the past two seasons, although his behaviour hasn't been the cause. A debilitating groin injury limited Balotelli to just 20 appearances with the Rossoneri last season.

Nice manager Lucien Favre seems open to signing Balotelli - but only if he keeps certain promises.

"I don't know him personally, but if he runs and wants to help the youngsters, then why not?" said Favre, according to the Echo. "If he doesn't want to run, then there's no way he'll come here."

A move back to Italy appeared to be an option for the former Inter and Manchester City hitman, with Sassuolo, Sampdoria, and Serie A newcomer Crotone among the most interested parties. Sassuolo in particular began talks with Liverpool and Balotelli's camp earlier this month, but the transfer fee proved to be prohibitive.

However, he would give Nice a high-profile boost in the goal-scoring department following the departures of forwards Hatem Ben Arfa and Valere Germain.

The Cote d'Azur side is competing in the Europa League this year, a reward for its previous fourth-place finish in Ligue

      Palermo in the background.

      4 goals 28 games two years .

So much for someone's three hour chat in their Melwood office back then "understanding the player" before signing him .

Sounds like Nice are trolling us, they probably have no intention of signing him. Understandable.

If we don't see him off on loan, he'll probably end up donning the Mighty Red outfit and arsing around with the mascots.

One bad F***ing buy and needs binning as soon as!
