Great result and performance. Moreno, Allen, Milner, Sturridge, and Origi all were excellent. Lallana looked bright when he came on too. I don't think Ojo played particularly well, but it was good to see him contribute brillianty to a goal.

Gave MOTM to Milner. I thought about Origi but I think his second goal was meant to be a cross for Sturridge. Milner got some good assists today and shown real captain qualities.

f***in well in lads, brilliantly set up for Dortmund Thursday, but more than that we have numbers that can and will do a job when asked, superb performance especially second half, great to see Ojo not only unphased but setting up a brilliant assist for Danny, Stewart grew in confidence and looked quite comfortable, the confidence gained for both these young lads is immeasurable.

Excellent stuff all round.

Thoroughly enjoyable game. Thought we battled well in midfield , showed some clever movement up front and Milner had a great game playing wider than we usually see him.

Allen motm. Playing against people a foot taller can't be easy and he battled well and showed plenty of composure on the ball too.

Impressed with Stewart again today will be a very useful squad player.

I agree - Stewart was taken in a few years ago from Spurs to the LFC Academy no? This is what the youth academy should be providing us with - okay, I'm not demanding all of them be a Fowler, Owen, McManaman, Carra, Gerrard etc but guys like Stewart give us the squad depth as opposed to spending £10 million on some young Spaniard who turns out to be complete sh*te (e.g. Luis Alberto).

Just think how important this is - if the Academy can give us more capable players like Stewart, we don't have to waste horrendous sums of money on a load of squad players. We can then pool transfer funds towards a few higher quality players instead of a scattergun desperate policy (I wince whenever I hear of the likes of Aspas, Alberto, Moses, Cissokho etc).

Good result all round - time for a well deserved rest.

Yep Brendan will get plenty of credit for wee Pirlo if he stays with us. He's doing everything right to surely at least keep squad status next season.
