Completely off subject but it's quite amazing when you look at so many of these German prospects coming through the influence migrants from the east have. Lots of Poles and Turks, this lad was born in Syria. The changing face of Western Europe eh?

So we're interested in Dahoud, Zielinski, Camacho, and have already signed Matip (who can play midfield), and yet people still think that Henderson is going to be around next season.... yeah right.

But Matip is a CB and will no doubt play as one. Making arguments against a player just for the sake of it.

Can will start next season.  That leaves two midfield positions.  A DM (which we need sorely) and one other CM.

Hell a lot of us don't even think Henderson should be starting NOW, let alone after the summer when a bunch of new midfielders should be coming in.

Come off it with Matip. There's not a chance he'll play in midfield.

Dahoud and Zielinski, fair enough. Throw in Grujic too. Not a single one of the reliable Merseyside journalists have come out and said we want Camacho though. Personally think both Lucas and Allen are likely to leave so that's two midfielders out. Milner will probably play a less central role next year too.

There's no guarantee he's here next year, but it's far from certain that he's off yet.

Exciting young talent who seems to have all the requirements of a Klopp player, hard running yet with the touch and passing range our midfielders can only dream about.

From my well-informed opinion after spent 30 minutes Googling, he is a central midfielder that gets forward and supports attacks as the primary creator.

Coutinho looks like he has a home on the left flank, so i'd guess he isn't a replacement.

Grujic, Zielinski, Dahoud, Dozzell, etc. all being linked now. Lots of young talent in the middle of the park. Hoping that we can pull some of the these deals off and add an established midfielder. Or maybe that will be Hendo's role (don't implode, federer).

I would be very disappointed if Henderson is still here next year, even more so if he is still captain and so far Klopp hasn't disappointed me.

Hes proven? in what world is he proven? he has played about 40 league games ever and started probably about 30.

Jordan Ibe has played about the same amount of games as him and he is still wet behind the ear.

anyone who we get linked with seem to (after the link has been made) have an fantastic season.

£20 mill for him would be criminal

i have not watched him at any level to give a detailed report. but i have watched football and liverpool in particular to know that spending a large chunk of money on unproven kids has more cons that pros.

Ali came with more 'hype' around him and went for a reasonable fee for such unproven talent.

Oh Christ, not that f**king cliche 'proven talent' again by those

I don't have a clue about the guy but if Jürgen wants him and sees great potential in him (as he has done with many of his signings in the past), then I can only trust the guy. After all, he's the man with two Bundesliga titles, a German Cup and a CL finalist all achieved within the relative constraints he was operating at Dortmund. I always find it funny when supporters think they know better than the manager, not least one with a proven track record of success at the highest level. Imagine if that was the way in other areas in life? I mean who the f**k would tell Jonny Marr how to play guitar?

He's played 37 games this season in what is a decent Gladbach side and he's had a very good season. The Ibe comparison doesn't work at all, considering Ibe hasn't put together a good season yet.

Funnily enough we don't usually go after players who aren't having fantastic seasons unless we're after a reject from a top club. That's how most clubs operate. Even neutrals like Honigstein are saying this lad is class, so it's hardly just Liverpool supporters praising him.
