You just know Dahoud is going to do his ACL this season if clubs wait out for that clause.

No problem with people having differing opinions.
It's the mudslinging in the process that got those posts deleted.

That's fine, you guys have a thankless job. My apologies for your added workload.

Again, if we are all going to just mindlessly take our marching orders from Klopp's soundbytes or what we surmise he "believes" then why have a forum?

The point I was trying to make is that if this is a player Klopp wants (and most reliable journos say it is) and we could get him now even overpaying why do we care about the fee, why can't we just try to wrap it up now, we have the money.

      Its a fair point mate.

I'd much sooner grab him now than risk trying to buy him for less money next summer when there could be even more clubs after him.

He can leave for €10m next season but with Dortmund and Juve interested we might not have the luxury of time to juggle.

For all we know, we could be league champions by then.

that's... a ridiculously simplified way of looking at things though isn't it? what do you mean "why do we care about the fee, why can't we just wrap it up now?" how do you know we "have the money"? maybe we don't have the money. maybe we want to sell Benteke first and then use the cash from that to immediately spend on another player because we have a lot of money delegated to a lot of areas already. the accounts of Liverpool Football Club are obviously taken care of much much more thoroughly than "who cares about the fee, why can't we just wrap it up now".. some people think "we just got a new kit deal worth X so that X goes in the kitty let's go buy Y cos he costs X" but that's just ridiculous.

why don't you go across town and buy stupidly expensive loafs of bread for 20 pounds a loaf? the guy is yelling about how you can buy it for just 20 pounds, everyone says his bread is awesome, you read about it every day.. would you just go spend the money? what if you get perfectly good bread around the corner for 4 pounds a loaf? just because you "have the money" you're going to go nuts wasting it all on one loaf of bread? you don't even NEED that bread, it just sounds fancy as F**k. plus your old man at home (manager Jürgen klopp in this analogy alright) knows how to get the best flavour out of the bread you already make in your own backyard, he has his own philosophies on bread and certainly would never waste 20 F***ing pounds on a loaf! especially when it's just being overadvertised so they can try and sell it, what if you see it in 6 months half price? you'd feel pretty stupid for wasting all that money!

What mate?  Without going into it too much we definitely have the money. A few times over.

i think that's just a delusion we don't need to have. we're far more responsible with transfers particularly after our record breaking F**k ups. i don't believe we'd be sustainable if we spent money willy nilly like that without any thought. i don't know how you could believe it.

For their insistence of him being a key player, he played no part in their qualifiers against Young Boys!

Missed targets Mahmoud Dahoud and Christian Pulisic are players of interest in future transfer windows.

The price of bread is a F***ing disgrace. We go through a loaf a day in our house easily! Thank Good for lidl and other low budget supermarkets.

If this fella is actually any good, as long as nobody else in World football watches him play for the next twelve months I think we'll sign him. If the sneaky buggers do though, we'll just have to cross our fingers and hope they don't offer a bigger contract than we do. We might be slightly up against it on that score.

I wouldn't worry two fucks about that Mick.

If that happens 'we' can always go to the default  position... call him a "greedy F**k", laugh at him for wanting to sit on 'their' bench and let anybody who'll listen know... "we only want players here who want to be here anyhow... so there"
