Delighted for Sakho and the club, innocent until proven guilty. Sad to say, he's been hung out to dry by certain members of the LFC family, he's one of us, we stick together!

That LFC family tag wants F***ing off, does my head in at times.

Good job some of the posters on here weren't on Sakho's jury.

Some had him down as sacked.

But it couldn't just be a fat burner could it ???  Surely he must have been using it as a masking agent to hide something more sinister.... he is ruining the purity of football.... he's a witch, burn him!!!   :f_tongueincheek:

Seriously though, PED's are not ruining the purity of the game....  money and commercial greed took care of that long ago.  On rare occasions we are still treated to something pure and beautiful -- our Stevie was as good an example as you'll find these days.

I wouldn't even care if he had been on PED's and had been trying to hide the fact for 2 reasons:

      1.  People make mistakes.  This would have been a mistake, but the character of big Mama is such that I would have been inclined to forgive him and give him a 2nd chance.

      2.  We (fans, managers, owners, etc) tell the players to win by any means necessary.  Feel a little contact in the box -- go down and try to get the pen.  Get touched in the face -- drop like you've been shot and try to get the player sent off.  Anything to gain an edge is the motto that is drilled into these players from the very beginning.....

In any case, I hope to see him back in red again very soon.  YNWA big Mama  :scarf:

Brilliant news, so does he get compensation? Or is that pushing the boat.

apparently a petition is doing the rounds ,asking Uefa to compensate sakho and Liverpool fc
very doubtful uefa will do anything about though. But I signed it anyway

Look, I really like this guy both as a player and his sense of community but no one seems to have stopped and asked the obvious question. Why did he take something that was on the banned list in the first place? Whether or not it should or should not be on the band list is a separate argument, the fact is it was on the list and therefore should not have been taken. I'm not suggesting anything nefarious, just saying it was a reckless decision that could - and still may - come back to haunt both him and the club.

How can you fail a test, when the drug being flagged up, it's not even being looked for?

Now remind who is a senior member of the UEFA, FA and Manchester Utd Board? David Gill, that's who.

Could it be that Sahko is deemed an important player for Frace, so we'll work s ploy to get him in the side.
Then we'll have a rethink and engineer an extended ban when  Liverpool start the 2016/17 prem season.
Or am I being a bit too cynical of uefa ?
As for Mama, I'd have had him out the door if proven to be a ped user. As it is, although now looking to be exonerated, the stuff he took was at the time on the list, so no excuses really.

O.K. so finally, here's some clarification:

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ  3m3 minutes ago
@AnfieldHQ @GFFN This substance is not listed on the AMA’s list of banned substances, even though it belongs to a category that is banned
      .

So in this case he's thoroughly entitled to feel aggrieved. He did nothing wrong and in further good news (for us, not him I suppose):

In any business a major error such as this with the consequences as far reaching as they are would automatically result in devastating measures taken against the perpetrator.
Nothing of the kind can touch UEFA who make the rules as they continue to F**k up on every issue under their control.

Nope it's UEFA - they're never wrong or at fault!

Just be grateful he'll be good to go in pre-season and starting the season etc.

Great news ... really thought he would be out till Christmas.

Sounds like an embarrassing f**k up by UEFA.

not just UEFA the doping control bods need to look at why this was on the banned list. To be fair to UEFA they applied the rules as they were laid out for them. But the main thing is he can play for us from the start of the season
