Wouldn't it be wonderful to finish off the tie by winning there 2-0 and and do things the easy way just for once. Sturridge needs to announce himself on the European stage and this could be his time finally.

Going to be tough tonight. Yes we still have options to choose from but we've lost three players who were becoming quite important to us. Chuck in the fact that Mignolet had a shocker at the weekend and you can see why Villareal might fancy themselves tonight.

I'll take a draw so we can get them back at Anfield for a one off game to decide who goes through.

A game to look forward to after the last few days is just what we all need. I fancy us tonight not to get beat and to score a goal or two.

Tough game tonight.

As long as we get a result (draw, narrow win), its all set for a great night next week

A bit of a crap season somehow turned into a trip to Wembley, drawing United in Europe and then the favourites Dortmund, and now we have a semi final to play. Fantastic stuff.

I don't know much about Villarreal, I haven't seen them play in years, but from what I've read up they are tough to break down but aren't very adventurous going forward either.

Hopefully we will go out with confidence and play some good football, go on the attack and look to score some goals - rather than sitting back and being worried what they might have. Let them worry about us.  Despite our league position we must be favourites for this surely.

I can't keep up to date with who's injured and who's not at the moment but I'd go with this team:

Unless JK sets the team up to sit and defend (which is highly unlikely) I can't see anything other than a win tonight.

They certainly have some dangerous players, but they have some major weaknesses defensively. The likes of Sturridge and Firmino could do some serious damage.

Nothing in life is guaranteed of course, but if we turn up I see us scoring 2/3.

I have a bad feeling about this game which is (usually) a good sign.

It's hitting home really hard now.

This is a Major F***ing European Semi final.
