I bow to all the families, all the people of Liverpool who never gave up on the search for justice in these long 27 years. You are all an inspiration.

The 96 fellow fans can finally rest in peace.

YNWA has never sounded stronger for me then on this day.

I'm in tears right now and I know I'm not the only one in these boards,
I want to hug all of you right now,

We are a family, we are as one, we all feel one another's pain,
The relief of emotions all those families who lost loved ones must feel today is immeasurable, unimaginable emotions,

My heart goes out to every single one of those 96 families,

      Finally you have JUSTICE

      RIP 96

Errors by the police, ambulance service, Sheffield Wednesday, stadium certification.
      Fans exonerated.

The complete opposite of what the media told the world 27 years ago.

Truth and justice.  I'm so pleased for all the families.

You know what, watching the families, friends and survivors coming out of the courtroom so ecstatic with the findings is both wonderful but so very, very sad.

Be great to have a new chant in future - we are the victims, it wasn't our fault!

On another note, I'd like to say a massive thank you to the Jurors who had to sit through over 2 years of shocking and disturbing evidence but came to the right conclusions.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I would like to say the following..I am so proud of the families of the fallen 96 Red brothers & sisters, I'm proud of their families who stood up to the corrupt system and never for one day allowed the memories of loved ones to be tarnished & fought for justice when they were told they would not get any...

I'm proud of this club who stood shoulder to shoulder with victims, their families & the supporters....

Today I feel 10ft taller with the verdict given and feel even more prouder to be a Red.

      "Truth will overcome Falsehood".

      YNWA.

      JFT96..

Now we  have to fight to bring those responsible to account....

Starting with that sh*t rag and editor for their smearing & then the establishment for turning a blind eye for 27 years prolonging the pain and suffering of all those affected..

Does this mean the Police and everyone else will now be sued or is it just closing the case and confirming what everyone knew?

I think I actually feel angrier now than before. All the insults over the years the chants from opposition fans even from our own city just last week. Police Officers blatantly lying and covering up it doesn't paint a very pretty picture of people does it. But then you look at the Families and their dignity which has held fast for 27 years it is a case of good versus evil and good has triumphed.

we will now see the "establishment" disappear up their own backsides trying to find a way to mitigate the damage this has done to the Police Force who have been seen to be incompetent and Liars.

It's down to the CPS to decide but the lawyers have been collecting additional evidence and statements during the Inquests ready to put forward cases for both individual and organisations criminal prosecutions.

They reckon it'll take till the end of the year to finalise all the info but the CPS have already said it's happy to consider any actions.

There is still an ongoing investigation into the Police cover up and tampering with evidence by West Midlands Police.

There'll be plenty to come mate.

IncREDible effort over all these years from the Hillsborough Justice Campaign which has finally brought some peace, justice and hopefully some closure for the families of the 96.

Let's see where things go from here as the lies and cover-ups are hopefully reported on in greater detail in the coming months.

Debs, maybe my scepticism here but do you think the lack of majority on Q6 will be used to squirm away from prosecution?

      There was a majority.

In any case I actually think any criminal prosecutions are not really the major issue.  I think it was all about today.  I think all the families ever wanted was their relatives memories to be untarnished and I think that was comprehensively what we got today.

The real evil behind all this was those involved in cover-ups and smears IMO.

      GET IN!

What a fantastic result for the families of the 96 & everyone connected with the Club. We all knew the truth, and now it's out there in plain sight for everybody to see.

The Jury did a fantastic job, as mentioned earlier - it wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world to have to sit through all the evidence; you'd have to have a heart of stone to not get affected by it. But they've done their job and remained professional and unbiased throughout and credit to them for that. Thank you.
