      Not around here debs, a lot of stuff wouldn't have happened without money from Brussels.

      Majority of the projects on Merseyside funded by the EU certainly would not have been funded by OUR government, put it that way.

      It's the same where I live mate, in ex mining territory but I'd still prefer to keep our money in house than pay for the gravy train in Brussels.

      Is right mate, dread to think if Merseyside weren't given these EU grants what the repercussions might be.
      While these tw*ts in government financially penalise the region because the council has to exceed enforced budget limitation, the EU in it's wisdom considers Merseyside a region deserving of multi-million grants to fuel projects and improve people's lives.
      No wonder cunty Cameron wants to stay in the EU - without it he could be closer to the rioting in the streets scenario.
