Yeah we did mate and I didn't mean that towards you, just the enthusiasm or more the lack of it about this signing is quite stark. As for off the beaten path I've been wanting us to raid the Bundelsiga for ages so that's another plus in my book.

He may well have cost £15million if he hadn't had a buy out clause. I don't think there is any proven correlation between price and ability to suck mate... certainly not in my experience

cant wait for our supporters to slaughter him on social media and to instantly categorize him as a puncher who's weak on crosses and 'not world class', thus ruining his confidence and career after he makes one mistake.

but in all seriousness. I am a bit worried. He's young. He had one full season as the number 1, therefore not the finished article. There is no space for any liverpool keeper to make a mistake or learn on the job. I think we need an experience keep, whos the finished article. 28-30 YEARS OLD.

I think he looks miles more dependable than Mignolet.

He is young and will make mistakes, but so be it. Simon makes far too may for my liking.

Hopefully proves to be a bargain like Pepe. But let's face it, if he can so much as even catch the ball then he is better than what we already have.

I wish for keepers, someone would make compilation videos of the goals scored against, not just those saved. Mignolet is a brilliant shot stopper at times, but it was his random mistakes that cost us so many points. I wonder if Karius is a more reliable keeper in that aspect?
