You will of course still be having unelected failed politicians. Except they will all be in Westminster and known as the House Of Lords. The ones who give the final yay or nay to British law. But nobody elects them.
MEP's of course, are all elected representatives, held accountable to their national electorates. There is no recognised government in Brussels, and no opposition.

oh no the horror, BBC employees losing their jobs, have you got any idea of the inefficiency and waste of money in that organisation, which is odd for a something state run!!
BTW totally agree about House of Lords, it should be abolished and replaced with an elected senate, which I think may well happen fairly soon.
Regarding the EU yes the MEP's are elected but who elects the presidents, why not the people now that they are becoming more and more powerful with every new EU treaty that comes along.
