You certainly need to add 'The Sting' too your must watch list, brilliant film & a brilliant cast with  Robert shaw stealing the show just avoid the sequal which was awful & yes I would say it's better than butch Cassidy & the sundance kid & I do remember cool hand Luke putting me off eggs for quite some time after first watching it,
The late great Paul Newman being one of my favourite actors.

Got to add my opinion in here, and agree that it's an absolute classic.
Many years ago, I wore out the copy I had on VHS because I watched it so often.
Add to that, it's one of those films that is so good, it seems timeless.

True Romance suits this thread to a tee. My favourite ever movie that a lot of people who I talk to say they've never seen.

Now that's one proper show... brutal and touching all in one, in my top ten without a doubt.

Maybe not a classic, but it won an Oscar. Watched Gravity the other night, my god it's F***ing sh*te!

Just 2 hours of Sandra Bullock floating in space!

Thought it was amazing in 3D on the big screen but it doesn't hold up as well on tv.

      The Warriors, 1979.

Undisputed greatest film of all time!

Yes one of my all time favs as well.

I would add The Wanderers, Roadhouse and Party Party.

Watch a couple of good films this week:

Kill list - really good British thriller, it's really tense throughout and the ending is mental

Hard candy - Also very tense throughout, well worth a watch

One film that I remember coming out in 2002 was Road to Perdition. In 14 years I'd never seen it until last night.
Missed out on a fantastic film across those years. Wonderful performances by Hanks and Paul Newman and some great themes!

Great film and a very under rated gangster film.
