At least Sinama Pongolle had his moments. Scored the first of the three we needed against Olympiakos, won us three points away to Real Betis in the CL group stages in 2005 and scored two in that epic 3rd round cup tie away to Luton. A fond contribution for someone so bit part. But where did I last catch him in the footballing world? Struggling to make the grade with a relegation battling Dundee United, that's where!

Hector has signed a contract extension at FC Koln until 2021.

Andy Robertson, Jetro Willems and Di Sciglio will probably sign contract extensions as well

we were definitely in for him but obviously not for 20 mil, we underestimated how valuable he is to Koln, a genuine asset. no matter. he wasn't going to be the difference between winning the league or not.

Can you please provide a genuinely reliable source to validate this claim?  I never saw any of the reliable ones (Pearce, Barrett, Reddy, Smith, etc) suggesting that we were ever in for anyone but Chilwell....

Nah.  The etc is to leave room for other reliable ones (those who get it right more often than wrong) such as Paul Joyce.  You can choose to believe or not believe any of the transfer gossip and rumors you want Bub, but you know full well that some sources are significantly more credible and reliable than others.  However, as per usual you seem intent on creating a problem where there isn't one
