Good amount of money received for Benteke, Skrtel, Ibe etc who weren't even in the managers plans. Good to see we have held out and not let the "deadwood" players go cheap.

Not sure if the serious Achilles injury has not slowed him down a bit he just doesn't seem dynamic anymore,  not only in terms of acceleration but also getting off the ground competing for a header.

Good luck to Christian, I really do rate him as a player and I can also see how he doesn't fit into Klopps system.

One things for certain though...what a F***ing waste of time it was signing him!

Eh, don't get the hate. Benteke is a good striker, just not the *right* striker for how we're setup. He'll do well at Palace in that setup and we've done well to get most of the money back. Good deal for all.

Good luck to Christian. Seams like a nice lad, hope he gets his career back on the track. Palace have pacey wingers so Pardew could use Benteke well over there.

The performance of Moreno against Arsenal has forced  Klopp to accept the  offer  . Is good to have  players  who can also play at  LB when needed, is time to  buy a propper first choice LB   .

£27m?... £5.5m less than we paid for him ("current market" my hole) but £1m more than I reckoned the money men would accept. Still... a good  move for all.
