France's sports paper L'Equipe has us linked to Amavi - Villa left back.



Did his cruciate in November, not sure if he is back yet or on his way back.

Had some decent reviews before he got his injury and can be absolved of much involvement in their relegation I would have thought. 

Report says that Milan and Lyon are also interested and that Villa will want what they paid last summer (£9M) back.

Sounds like the sort of deal that we could do pretty quickly. Villa will want to cut their wage bill, the player will want to get back in the prem and we will want a cheapish player on low wages.

Maybe he's even a decent player?

Looked ok before his injury. Definitely be a massive punt based off a couple months of football in England and coming back from an ACL, though.

Good stuff. After only 10 league games in a relegated team and after suffering an ACL injury, he's very much of an unknown.
