Well that turned out a bit sh*t, didn't it? Pretty much everyone is acknowledging someone like Bradley played poorly (as he frequently does...) yet all say "there's no one to replace him." And that's like fundamentally the problem with American soccer. He doesn't even play that well for Toronto, but so shallow is the U.S. talent pool that the American media big him up and make excuses for why he played poorly. And he's the captain FFS. It's a joke, really. Not a single American would get into that Colombian starting XI. Klinsmann might not be a good manager, but until the system can produce better players, every U.S. manager will continue to fail.

The Brazil game is on again at 12:45 bst on Premier if you can get a stream. I'm going to have Aussie Rules and UFC on record around K.O. time in the Brazi game so I'm stuck watching the replay.

Coutinho looking alright on the left but nothing much really happening in the final third for both sides.

Coutinho hasn't been very good but Brazil just looks uninspired overall. Plenty of possession but no urgency. Need to play much more direct.

Gabriel Barbosa on for Jonas. Pushed Coutinho in to a central role now it looks like.

      :lmao:

The Brazilian keeper has dropped the ball in to his own net but thank F**k for him the ball went out (by the slightest of margins) first before the cross came in.

EDIT: Any Brazilian experts know why Elias and Renato Augusto are playing in midfield? Surely there are better options around?

Much better game between Uruguay and Mexico apart from the inability to play the correct Uruguayan national anthem, they could be out before Luis is. fit

Bradley has pictures of Klinnsman with a prostitute or something. He has to. He flat out sucks. And has for years.

Both very good players for the Brazilian championship - along with Jadson and Ralf they formed Corinthians midfield, the team that won the league last year quite easily - but not that good for national team standards.

Both used to play for Flamengo and were very good, I love them but seriously not NT material.

Watching the USA vs Costa Rica game. USA needs to win this game. As I type this, they go up a goal with a penalty.

Kind of a strange match in some ways. Costa Rica was awful, but the US didn't look all that great either. The Americans' finishing was perfect, though. They took pretty much every chance they had. 4-0 helps big time with their goal differential, now +2 going into the last match.

Coutinho scoring twice for Brazil. 3-0 at HT.

Looking forward to watching Gabby Barbosa whose come on now. 19 year old who was superb in a youth tournament couple years ago.

Am I nuts or is Filipe Luis rather average?

His attack is weak, crosses never hit, link up play always gets messed up when he tries to connect with Phil and his defence is all over the shop.

Watching him last couple of months and not once has he impressed.

Barbosa looking good for Brazil second half. Not much else.
