I stopped believing Wikipedia when we all started messing about with it.

      Seriously?

I can't believe you can't send a picture to another phone from the iPhone.  How sh*t would that be!
i can't see you wouldn't be able to send mms, not supporting 3g and having no video camera is one thing but not having mms would be stupid

Yeah the forum looks okay on it doesn't it.  Obv, only know from the iPod Touch but same kind of thing.

£900 over 18 months minimum is a shed load of money mind...

When the handset is free I will consider getting one but I'm not tying myself in to a long contract and shelling out nearly 300 notes.

They'll be free in a couple of months, especially when Sony launch their touch-screen 3G phone

Now that you bring it into proportion with the price being soo high.

But it is a smart piece of equipment bear in mind.  The hype will eventually be over soon.

Oh and yeah the forum does look good on it! I like the little trick where you grab it on the sides and the screen turns with you.  The forum looks even better from that.

Didn't try and see if my moderation 'powers' work over the iPhone because I forgot!   :D

I nearly left myself logged into that iPhone as well.  Had to race back to the shop and get back to the same model and log out!

There is pen on my hand BTW!  :D

I think the £900 oner 18 months is only for 200 mins and 200txts, admittedly I think the internet stuff is free but is a lot of money, only 2G as well (could be wrong) but is there any video calls? As I said up top I'm waiting for the Sony W960i (is that the phone you are talking about JD?)

Great. So the new iPhone 3G comes out on Friday and I get an email last night telling me I can pre-order.

Apparently 02 had sold out of their online allocation within about an hour.

Here we go again then - eBay central.

They could of at least improved the camera from 2MP to 5MP at least?

Do I smell a later upgrade before the end of the year?

To be honest I think the addition of GPS and 3G couple with a price cut of around 50% is more than decent.  The lack of 3G was what held this phone back, not the camera.

Anyway, it looks like I will have to head off to an 02 shop on Friday.  Which I can't. Cos I'm working.

      Well.  I didn't get it.

      But here's an interesting fact.

A year ago Apple had never ever sold a mobile phone.

      I'm hacked off!

My phone's decent but I'm paying the same (if not more with Bolt Ons) on O2 as I would if I'd have waited 3 or 4 weeks and got an i-phone 3G!

       >:( Bit gutted but that's life! Gotta be my next phone now! ;)

Nah I wont be getting one. My Nokia N95 already does everything and more and it does it all better too.

Best camera on a phone. Better than most actual cameras.

I'm planning of getting shut of my C902 and getting an iPhone on pay as you go and just lashing in me contract SIM in a couple of months.

This is a good phone but I think I deserve an iPhone! :D

How much are they on pay as you go? Can you use any SIM cards in them? Got a virgin SIM and don't want to buy one only to find out it does work with my SIM :D

      A bit pissed off.

Not only has 02 been pissing me off lately due to their 'rip off call rates' their staff are bollocks as well.

I walk in to the 02 shop in Birkenhead the other day to catch up on the forum and this fat slap head that works in there, starts giving me down the banks that the iPhone models on display are for demonstration purposes only and not for 'personal use' as he sarcastically put it.

Now if he would of got a better response from me if he would of said, sorry to be a pain mate but you can't really use it for personal use.

Told him to shove it in the end.  pr**k.

Not sure of prices as of yet! Should be reasonably extortionate of course!

They cost £140 to make apparently. So flogging them for minimum £300 is generous business! :D

With regards to SIM's, I'm sure they'll still be O2 only. Me mates got one on Orange though, though he's pretty hush about how that happened! :D eBay more than likely :D

O2 staff on the whole are pretty sh*te this week. They rang me this morning because my direct debit didn't go through so I asked if I could have 'til the 21st, then move the DD due to my payday being different now. The fella went to get his manager because he was probably new (left me listening to the Torres song, 02 style! :D) and then couldn't get me off hold adequately, thus cutting me off! F***ing tool! :D

And they didn't ring me back! :D

Some stock of these iPhones are knocking about.

They had them in Speke today.

I've just got lashed by 02 for a £75 monthly bill.  My contract's £35 and I'm sure I didn't use my phone abroad that much.

      Cnuts.
