Being totally unbiased here I thought he was MOTM as well. Fantastic. He and Bale were truly brilliant in the first half particularly.

UEFA have come out with a statement condemning the behaviour.

Well if that doesn't stop them I don't know what will. UEFA saves the day yet again.

Glenn Hoddle on ITV claiming that Rooney justifies his starting position in England because 'teams need players who are experienced in these big international tournaments'...just moments after Wales, who haven't played at a tournament since 1958, defeat Slovakia 2-1.

You also 'don't drop a player who's scored 50 goals for your country'...well at least residents of San Marino and Andorra agree with that.

Fairly comfortable win in the end for Wales. Perhaps they are the 2nd best team in the group? England have to top the group and hopefully Wales go 2nd. A draw would have been better for England though.

It's the same every time, I think UEFA should ban all English Clubs from European football for a year as a punishment.

So Walker is ahead of Clyne for Roy.. gotta put that down to the same mind who guarantees Rooney a place in the team.

That aside, it's a strong enough team. Have to win!

Wayne Rooney testimonial isn't it? Can't see any other reason why he's in there.

All joking aside I hope Harry Kane has a great tournament. I think he's absolutely fantastic and deserves success.

I can't stand it anytime he's in the team but never really say it because he's bound to score or something then we'll hear Bodgson gushing over him afterwards.

Majority if not all of the first hand accounts of the trouble is that the English have been attacked and reacted on the most part to the locals and the police and today the Russian Ultras have gone on the rampage.

England fans getting attacked for the three days running in Marseille and about 15 consecutive tournaments.

      Those lads are so unlucky.
