And I can bet that most of them were pissed. Fucks me off when people can't handle their beer and then cause sh*t. It seems that France weren't fully serious about this drink ban that they said they'd put in place. They've basically just banned people walking about the streets with beer which I thought wasn't acceptable anyway?

Life bans for hooligans should be enforced. Problem is how to enforce the ban.

I just wonder what would happen, it the Riot Police did not turn up, but instead a group of children?

You put something in front of them to fight, and they will fight.

There should, unfortunately be alcohol free zones, as these people are quite clearly not mature enough to drink.

TBH, I can not stand all this nationalistic aggro, as it lumps me with all the Bull Dog Brigade, for which I am not apart of.

This is why, I am not too arsed about England, I'd like them to win, but can do with out all the rubbish that comes with it.

;) The point I made is that there are plenty of Liverpool fans in these crowds of England fans. I see a lot of criticism of England fans in this thread as if they are a different people.. but there some of us (Liverpool fans) among them.

Euro 2016: France expels Russia far-right fan chief Shprygin
The far-right leader of the Russian footballer supporters' association is being thrown out of France following violence at the England-Russia Euro 2016 match in Marseille.

Alexander Shprygin is among 20 Russian fans being deported.

They were detained on Tuesday while travelling from Marseille to Lille to watch Russia face Slovakia.

The arrests angered Moscow, who summoned the French ambassador in protest.

Mr Shprygin's All-Russia Supporters Union is backed by the Kremlin. He is reported to hold far-right views and has been photographed giving a Nazi salute.

Russia and England fans clashed before and after the two teams played on Saturday.

it used to amaze me when I read that Russians felt nostalgic for the times of stalin etc but it seem they want to go back to the good old days.

Wouldn't call it hooliganism but didn't know where else to put this.

F***ing rank behavior. Hope the Russians get hold of every one of them involved.

Also, I don't know how to make the video appear in here so I've just put the link in.
