Good to see the English and Russian fans getting along. This guy even gives his chair up.

      Bless.

More action from the other game in Group B

See that fella with the t-shirt around his neck.  Videoing it!  Crazy.

Back to the Wales game.  Bet they would have been happy with a point pre-game.

And they wonder why it's always kicking off. F***ing pathetic organisation yet again from UEFA and also France.

So, fellow English, who fancies going to the 2018 World Cup in Russia?

      Think I'll swerve it.

Hopefully World War 3 against Russia would have started by then. That way we'd be guaranteed less violence.

They shouldn't be allowed to host the f**ker IMO. Absolute disgraceful people. I remember when Hulk was being sent death threats by his own fans because of his race.

Didn't FIFA delegates sell tickets to CSKA supporters for the behind closed doors game against City? Or something like that?

Two England fans apparently fighting for their lives and Marseille is a war zone by all accounts. Russian football is renowned for this though and the f*****g idiotic decision to give them the World Cup is simply a train wreck waiting to happen.

Wonder where Magnamillionaire is now after branding England fans with terms I won't repeat. More and more reports coming out how England fans have been victims for days and French police answer is to just tear gas them all and blame England.

In fairness, we also have reports of England fans involved in incidents.

Let's wait till the facts emerge. Understandably you feel England fans are being unfairly blamed and it isn't them acting as aggressors.

However, as with many incidents like this the truth is likely a shade of grey.

Let's not pretend that England fans have been hunted like innocent lambs. After all Iain MacIntosh was reporting an England fan dropped kick a man off a moped.

Ultimately we should all be able to go the football and not be fear of our lives. But clearly there is a perception abroad of England fans which perhaps attracts violence from other fans,  even if it isn't the average England fan there is a minority looking for a scrap.

Because Scotland, Wales and Republic of Ireland all seem to travel in huge numbers and don't seem to involved in any violence. In fact Scotland and Ireland are frequently congratulated on being so well behaved despite a love of booze and partying.

Something doesn't feel right to me this isn't normal violence associated with football, clashes happen but they generally come and go fairly quickly, this is prolonged and sustained violence.

My impression is that minority of England goaded into scuffles by locals.

Police started to react for forcefully.

Russians fans start arriving in numbers and hearing of scuffles think England fans must be up for a bit. Or Russian fans always intended to have a knock about anyway.

Throughout of all this you have the few on both sides who always look for a fight.

Hope that's not true, English/Russian, whatever nation that fan comes from, it's tragic. Sickening and thoughts with his family and friends, hope they catch whoever did this.

Just watching BBC News now and Dan Roan's report. England and Russia fans were separated in the stadium...by tarpaulin?

Disgraceful by UEFA and the French authorities.

England and the likes of Russia, Poland etc don't tend to spend too long at tournaments.  Is that what you mean?

A little bit more than the Sevilla and Liverpool fans were separated by at the start of the Europa League final.  There was one female steward separating about 30 rows of supporters.

Gut feeling is that they are focussing all their security attention on what gets into the ground and then once they're in completely forgetting about the fact that people have weapons at the end of their arms.

Can someone who has actually been to Marseille please explain why the city itself is seemingly adding to violence.

Keep seeing people saying 'Russia vs Germany in Marseille, bound to happen' and the like.

I know Naples is meant to be a bit rough? Is it just a rough place or something else?
