Went for Hansen and Hughes , could have been thommo , carra , big Yeats , as much as I liked Sami I think he's a bit behind the others , one thing you can say is we have had some top drawer defenders who would grace any era .

I left Emlyn out hoping to get him at left back, backfired big time

This isn't too difficult.
Tommy Smith,brilliant footballer & they simply don't come any tougher.
Emlyn Hughes,when I am asked to pick an all time 11 Emlyn is one of the first I'd select. Truly was an unbelievable player.

Just going through selecting my team and reading some of the comments I've definitely missed out on watching some truly amazing players. It makes for a tough selection a number of positions.

The story explains a lot about Agger's injury history but the part that gripped me was his description of the frosty relationship with Rodgers and the brainless training sessions carried out by owl.
