The spectacle will continue while the buffoons you describe appoint managers of the national team.
Their influence affects every part of the national game but the sporting equivalent of the establishment is as well entrenched as that insidious concept.

FA have tried on two separate occasions to get Roy Hodgson to face the media – but both times the former England manager declined.

That's because he's one horrible, snide shithouse!

Can't wait for the day he'll finally speak and probably put all the blame on Rooney and Kane forgeting he selected them.

Hard to disagree with Didi on his views on the exit and Premier League being a bit of a false economy and all.

Andy "Transfer Gimp" Burton on the case at Chantilly!

According to him Hodgson basically lost the dressing room. His tactics and decision making being questioned.

The shithouse will face the media at 4pm. Might need to get some popcorn for that, should be fun!

The FA  are getting just what they deserved with Hodgson. It's not like his  glaring inadequacies weren't there for everyone to see.

On Betfair he's 2/50 to lose his sh*t with a female journalist.

A joke but also painfully possible.

Lost it during his time at Liverpool, calling one Echo journalist "too Scouse" when he started getting questioned for his awful decisions.

After twice declining to speak to the media he has just come out to face them and started with:

Did Martin Glenn just say he's not a football expert?

Is this guy going to play a part in selecting the next manager?

Welcome to our FA and football in England generally mate.

Full of "businessmen" who know how to maximise revenues, sponsorship deals and milking the fans but know F**k all about the game.  Whilst the FA is pulling in millions of £s to finance itself rather than working on improving the game itself, we'll continue to be irrelevant.

You only need to look at our "coaches training".

When FIFA/UEFA decided that all Head Coaches/Managers had to have the Pro A Licence to work in the game all National FAs had to put a training programme in place to get them there.  Across Europe the costs to go through all the badges are around £500, in England it's nearer £5,000 and we wonder why we have F**k all decent coaches working here.

Just seen bits of it on SSN mate, what a F***ing weasel he is.

I could smash his rubbery face in, sat there all F***ing defiant daring the journos to put the blame on him.

You're the F***ing manager/coach, you've worked with the squad for 4 years, you selected the 25 men to play how you wanted them to, you picked the starting 11 for each and every game, who else are we to blame?

      You absolute F***ing coward

According to journalists he was asked twice today to hold a press conference and twice he refused. Only on the third occasion did he submit to the FA's wishes.

What a F***ing coward indeed. An embarrassment.
