I could be completely wrong and maybe it’s just because I look out for what’s happening with our players and nobody else’s, but it seems like  out of all the teams that suffer with players getting injured on international duty, we are at the top of the list.

Mate, I'm exactly the same as you...only look at our Players on International Duty, don't care about the rest of them but I never even see a headline that someone from another Team got injured on ID.

Mane at 30 won't be the Mane of 26. His touch just isn't first level, and his finishing sucks. Holds on to the damn ball FOREVER too. He kills me these days. Love him, but needs replacing

Well the positive is we wont miss him during the AFCON. His aggression up front has been so important to us but either he has run out of legs or his form is shocking

Sadly worst game in my memory of Sadio Mane.
He easily could do much better last night but what I'm disappointed is he look not care that much.
One reason is fatigue but not sure how much the talk of Salah's new contract salary effect his head recently.

Agree. It is the reasonable thing to do and probably what will happen, though we better buckle up for the "we sell our best players" tirades.

It's part of life man. Shanks did it. Bob did it. It's not personal, its business. Its why I don't hate dudes for leaving us. I'm not mad at a dude for leaving us for more money. We can get mad, but dudes have families to think about and I get it.

Same must be said for us when we look after the clubs best interest and try and get better. It sucks if we sell Mane, because he's been part of so muc. But we pay him. He's gotten medals. It's not like we used him and he didn't get a piece of the pie. And at this point Mane has been declining for some time now. He's still a great talent and can show it for periods of time, but those moments are fewer and further between. Mane needs replacing, it is what it is.

I hope we give him a beautiful send off and sing his songs years from now. I'll wear his kits with pride years from now. I will tell my grand kids about the the Everton late winner, about that pivet shot in Munich, about his generosity and work rate.

I love these lads but a bit of a refresh wouldn't be a bad thing and if we get Salah tied down I wouldn't totally be against moving one of Mane or Firmino on and replacing with a younger player.
