Wonder who takes the Number 10 now!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis asked for it (his Twitter handle is 'curtisjr_10' so it means something to him). The question is, is he ready to carry the weight?
Harvey would also be a good shout, but it raises the same question as Curtis.

Or we just leave it unattached for one year.

Weird AF seeing his name in the ex players thread, bought a small tear to my eye, truth be told.  :'(

Gutted he's going, feels weird wishing him well with those tight Bayern Cu*ts but he will always be our Sadio.

Can't wait till one day he puts out his autobiography and explains the real reasons he left and talks about how telling the Boys and Jürgen that he wanted out, went down. Would be fascinating reading. Obviously I wouldn't read it because I don't like to read but am sure someone will tell me what he wrote.  :D

Really is weird isn't it AR!

Asode from being an extraordinary player, he's always been one of the most honest, humble and unique gentlemen to have played for this club. I think plenty, inside and outside of football could learn a lot from the way this guy leads his life.

Hope he comes back after 1 season away like Lukaku.  ;D

Shouldn't be leaving in my opinion. Feel like we could have done more to keep him.

There goes my favourite ever LFC player. So weird seeing this among the Ex Players section.

He was signed by LFC the season I lived in the city and quickly became a personal favourite as I lived through my dream of going to every home match (and one ill-fated away at Hull City).

He was my wife's favourite player. She knows very little about of football, but always said he was our best, even when all the world focused on Coutinho. She was right.

Years later we named our cat Mané (until we found out it was a girl, and changed the name).

I absolutely loved watching him play - his main strength, apart from his obvious pace and technical skill, was the fact he always kept going, no matter how badly things were. He always showed up.

And my god, he was brilliant at times. Frequently. Started out as our right winger, moved to the left when Salah arrived, and had one final season as a centre forward.

8 Premier League seasons. 10+ Premier League goals in all of them. Remarkable.

I'll miss this man so much. I'm glad he leaves on good terms though, and on a high, after an extraordinary season.

Sadio Mane is transforming his village to a town.

He built a £455,000 hospital and €250,000 school in his village, Bambaly.

He gives each family €70 monthly.

He provided 4G internet for them.

He is building a fuel station and post office.

2,000 people live in his village.

Sadio Mane has  helped plenty of people, worse off than  himself. Good luck to Sadio for the future, although  sorry to  see him leave  Anfield.

I am sure he will carry on his good work of helping others .

Sorry to see him go. Always seemed such a natural LFC-for-life player. I'll need to find a new favourite in the squad (Diaz is looking a good possibility). Feels to me like the club under-valued him bit, or he felt they did, and maybe leaves with a bit of a bad taste in his mouth, but that is just guessing really - hope it's not the case. Not keen on Bayern, but good luck to him. Cracking player who always gave everything.

As usual I have more perspective than you whiners. Mané wanted way too much dough and showed his disrespect to LFC with this very greed. I do not want a player who wants to get paid like a goddamn messiah but is not able to lift us over Tottenham or Real to win the real big trophies. The dude is also 30+, so do not let the door hit him on his way out. He‘ll be forgotten in 20 years. That said, no hard feelings. The club won, we won, it was a good relation while it lasted. I wish him nothing but the best unlike a guy like Cunthino. It will be weird if we meet him as an opponent, but it is what it is.

Seeing a lot of negative stuff about sadio. the guy bust his gut for us for 6 years. He deserves to do whatever he wants.

Same goes for all footballers that put the effort in for any club they play at.

Life is too short to get too upset.

Personally Im loving the evolution of the team, were in for another amazing ride with this new squad.
