Yet Mane was superb throughout those poor moments of last season and he scored us goals. Until we get our act together, I'll continue to miss him, and our team continues to miss him.

Part of the greatest Liverpool squad we've ever seen and it's going to take some adjustment to LFC post Mané et al.

Exactly mate, nothing lasts for ever.

If we had a fully fit squad we would not be missing him so much, and tbf I dont Diaz is letting us down so much just now, its dodgy defending and some shoddy shooting. ;D

Think Mane was always wanting out at some stage to try another league - it’s imo why Diaz was brought in

Yes. It was reported before the transfer that Sadio had been open to the team over the past year mentioning the wanted to leave and did not want to renew his contract.

Sadio is a fantastic player but tying to fill the hole left by Lewandowski is a huge ask (especially goal scoring wise). With a rocky start to the season for Bayern wouldn't be surprised (rightly of wrongly) questions get asked about Sadio. No different then what you see here with Nunez

He's got the problem of essentially being the replacement for Lewandowski who's scored at a goal a game for the last few years.

Not going well for him at Bayern, seems the fans are really starting to turn against him. Klopp doesn’t work with players that he’s managed in the past but I wonder if we’d make Mane the exception to that and look to bring him back in a cut price deal or on loan in January

      1. How do we swap him with a player we don’t even own?
      2. You were probably one of the ones calling for another CM to be signed and then want us to bin the one we got in on loan when he’s played about 10mins so far.

In Answer to question 1. It was a joke...and I'm not good at jokes, either telling them, or hearing them.
In answer to point 2. I haven't called for the club to buy a player in any position, for the fairly obvious reason they don't give a flying F**k what I think.....I'm surprised you are.

I have to wonder how much time does Nagelsmann have left at Bayern at this rate. I know they are not a club who usually overreacts or like to play the managerial merry-go-round, but it seems to me that Nagelsmann is not doing a great job. He basically won the league by default last season despite putting in a number of shocking performances, they crashed out of the Pokal in an insanely early round for a team like Bayern and also crashed out of the CL against Villarreal (quarter finals if I remember correctly). This season they seem to be on a similar course despite spending about 120m on incomings. I understand Mane is not Lewandowski and they seem to be rotating a lot from one game to another, but I have to say Nagelsmann is not looking all that good from the point of view of somebody who occasionally and casually watches Bundesliga games.

Is Mane the problem or more the tactical management of the team?

Not sure why Mane's post Liverpool career is so closely followed. He was a major contributor to Our recent success but he wanted to leave, so he left, for me that was the end of my interest. As for the prospects of Bayern M. or their manager, I couldn't give a proverbial toss.

I don't care...but I'm curious why this ex player generates interest on this forum. I'll have a stab at an answer, which go's along the lines of many think his departure has massively influenced Our poor (relatively) start to the season. I don't subscribe to that view, one player can't account for so many of the current players collective drop in form.
