I'm saying if Woodburn is good he'll play, the Sheffield manager isn't gonna bench him outta spite. He shouldn't get a start cos he's a Liverpool player.I've only watched him on dodgy streams for our ressies/ u-18's,i know he was sick/injured but not setting the world on fire since.
It's because Sheffield United are doing well with their current setup. Top of the championship, they're premier league material. If we loaned him to Blackburn or another mid table side, he'd be getting games.

It's also a long season Ben needs to sit patient until he gets the nod then he needs to prove his worth.

Realistically he will probably never make the grade here. Don't want to rule out a young kid but its very difficult.

Most of our young players that have made it here in the recent past have been defenders. We have one of the best attacks in world football so you have to be extremely special to break in here now.

An 18 year old Michael Owen might struggle. He would give it a good go obviously but that is the level we are at now.

Nonsense both Fowler and Owen would get games/chances in this team, Woodburn is not even close to their level at that age.

Another example of loans never working. Should have never left. Would gain more training with the first team than training with second rate talent in the championship

Left out again today. I know Klopp said recently that Woodburn wanted the challenge of fighting for a first team berth, but obviously he's more likely to get a game with our U23s.

I'm not saying Sheffield United are doing him wrong. If he doesn't win a spot in the team he doesn't, so maybe we've overrated him. But either way, wouldn't it be better for him to return to Liverpool for training purposes?
