He is also just a consultant and won’t be doing any day to day business as such

Strange sacking, they seem to be doing decent in the league ?

They are mid table ten points behind and also near the bottom of the CL table

Some are just better as coaches rather than the main man.

They're usually about 520 points clear at the top by now. He was a disaster from the very beginning but it's not entirely on him.

As likable as he is, he just doesn't seem suited to be a head coach/manager.

He's obviously excellent at running drills and style of play but to manage a group of players is
      a different thing altogether.

Wouldn’t be the first that we have seen who can coach a team but can’t manage them

Remember Carlos Queiroz leaving United for a season at Madrid and then going back to United straight afterwards.

Well at least they sacked him before Klopp took the RB job because that could have got awkward!

Now that he has gone should we not recall Bajcatic?  Might be handy for the cup competitions?  He has hardly been given a good chance.

Started to play a lot more recently but wouldn’t mind seeing him back

To play the Accrington game and not see him again until pre-season?

Rather we looked for a permanent move in Jan or maybe use him as makeweight to land someone like Johnny Cardoso.

Why would you be looking to let him go when he is clearly a very talented player

To make way for someone more experienced, more dependable, more quality, and I don't particularly rate him that highly either.

Basically same reasons I wanted Clark gone, Ibe gone, Ojo gone, Brewster gone, Wilson gone, Solanke gone etc

      And Cardosa is 🤔

A guy who has played 20 games in one of Europes top leagues

Is it just a desire to see money spent and seeing transfers as opposed to developing players through the club

Cardoso is already one of the best DM’s in Spain, another example of someone who makes the transition from south american football to european quick and easy and yes he’s better than Bajcetic in every aspect, who’s struggled for game time in Austria all season.

One of the best DMs who has played 24 games 🙄

Bajectic who is 3 years younger at the age of 18 was playing in the Premier League looking very comfortable

You look to bring in someone like Zubimendi, Ederson whilst also keeping Baj to let him develop

Yes. A bit like how Grav has surged to being the best DM in England after 15.

We’re heading into 2025 in a few weeks, it’s not 2022 anymore - the injuries he sustained meant he wasn’t all that comfortable, he hasn’t been able to develop and if he’s not good enough for Salzburg he’s definitely not good enough for Liverpool. He filled in well, that was his job. Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips also filled in well, we don’t talk about them now.
