Welcome to LFC, Ragnar! (how difficult is it to say "Ragnar" without immediately following it with "Lothbrok"?)

Don't even remember him playing in the Augsburg game, so can't go judging just yet until he plays in a red shirt, good luck to him anyway.

Last thing I'd describe that McQueen is as lovely.

Another manc tramp just like her arl fella!

BTW if the Estonian pronunciation of the name is anything like the Norwegian then his name is split into 2 syllables and an extra n added so it becomes: rang-nar

A guy down the pub last night said Klavan was a good player. Obviously slept well last night on hearing that.

      Welcome Ragnar

Another quick signing that took me by surprise. I suspect Klavan will be coming in for that 3rd or 4th choice CB spot, but who knows, he might surprise us and be a starter.

Since 10/11 Ragnar never missed more than four games per season due to injury. I hope he will provide good competition at CB position for us.

Only watched 30 mins of the game and fell asleep (will have to watch the full game later), but from what I saw, I was impressed and surprised. I expected him to be a big lump with no speed and agility,  but quite the opposite, isn't he?

From watching the game in the early hours against Chelsea, looks comfortable on the deck with the ball.

Reminded me a little of when Hyypia first joined us. That sweeping pass out to the right wing used to be his trademark pass in his first couple of seasons.

I did notice, as Klopp mentioned in one of his interviews with James Pearce that he can play left-back, when he went steaming down the left wing in the first half, so most likely apart from Milner, he'll be the emergency left-back in case Moreno falls off his hover-board

A tidy debut from Ragnar.  Have to say, it looks like he was pretty comfortable out there.  He certainly filled me with more confidence than Lovren did yesterday.

Hey guys. I´m Estonian, and i have to say there is no extra ´n. Just Ragnar.

First Debut done... would like to know what you think of him? We (Estonians) will hope he can fly in hights in your club! :)

This is an lifetime opportunity to him!
As much as we know Klavan, he will give 110% to do well. He is honest, cool and very professional!

Should be no problem to play in starting 11! last few seasons played most of the games in Augsburg starting 11. Always had an impressive statistics, no matter who was the opposite club.

And now you will have more fans in Estonia also! :)

I've been quietly impressed with the lad from what I have seen in pre-season. He actually reminds me a little of Stephane Henchoz in that he is a proper defender first and foremost and is not afraid to simply clear the decks once he has won the ball. im guessing he is almost certain to start at Centre-half alongside Lovren at the weekend given the injury problems of Sackho and Matip.

We'll see mate, the pre-season is obviously a world away from the real thing but he has looked alright so far!
