Gini did a lot of donkey work for this team, international wise 1 in 3 games he score for the Dutch, shame he wasn’t afforded the same role here.

It’s a team game and he wasn’t required to do that for us
He did his job in our machine at the sacrifice of his more natural game
But he did what was needed in this team to help make us what we have become

We are really going to miss Gini's versatility and reliability next season...

His goalscoring record with the Netherlands is pretty good, isn't it. Almost a goal every three games. A bit strange compared to his record with us. Obviously he didn't play in the same position but he never seemed to have the same confidence he would score when he ventured in the opposition area (although Barcelona might feel different about that statement). Perhaps all the running he did for us meant fatigue played a part.

Spot on mate, i already know that, bet he scores at least 10 for PSG if he gets to play in his favoured role.

It's a shame that Wijnaldum never really played as AM/ No. 10 here. It's clear that he can bring a lot. I like this player, very technical and strong, but I hate to see him wasted in his position here and disappear when we need something to be done. Klopp made a choice, I understand that, but I think Wijnaldum could have helped if he played more offensively.

During the last game for the Euro, the fullbacks were very offensive and Wijnaldum played superbly as No. 10. It's possible to do it. We'll miss this Wijnaldum, not the one we had here whose role was only to "recycle" the balls.

I thought I already loved and respected this man as much as possible.  Then he goes and does this....  He is an amazing person and the best possible role model for young kids, whether they want to play footie or not.

I really do hope there's a well thought out plan for dealing with his absence as it was clear Klopp wanted to keep him.

Abuse ? Some no marks commenting on a game and his performance yes ignore it if you have the balls or get the F**k off the platform which I highly doubt he will see anyway knowing how twitter works turn off notifications don't look or read them .
