They have that's the point, Gini wasn't happy with the deal but has got on with things in a professional manner. Once Koeman got the job at Barca, that looks to be when he made his mind up.

He’s been a very good player for us, no doubting that but he’s replaceable and not our best midfielder that some of you are saying. Our best two after Thiago are playing in CD and personally think he’s been quite poor, when he’s had the chance and playing time to command his position.
