Yup look like either Bissouma or Rodrigo de Paul will replace Gini.

Both Gravenberch and a more experienced ready made replacement for Gini as well would be great as there wouldn't be pressure to fast track Gravenberch in to the first team.

It does look like he will be a world class player.

IMO Thiago is Gini replacement. Then within 3 seasons Jones should takeover that position.

I literally don’t see any plus to going to Barca right now apart from the weather, club is in shambles.

I know the common thought is we get some of our players back and we fight city for the title next season, but that sadly might not be the case. Gini leaving or not, the way this season has happened and with an international tournament to come at the end of this season and the next season, history could well repeat itself.

I guess what I'm saying is that Gini might fancy a new challenge with a different club rather than start on a new journey with us while we look to rebuild on a covid budget.

Will be missed, but you never know whether it was him holding out or the club unwilling to do a deal. Either way I don't begrudge him a new challenge in a new country.

Barca have denied it bit of a circus right now. Love Gini but this should have been settled by now can’t imagine he’s fully focused on his football at the moment having to think about his last real pay deal in his career.

Both Thiago and Gini have had absolutely poor stats. Gini scores 2 or 3 goals per season and provides an assist one very rare occasions. You might be spot on.
