According to a report from Portuguese publication O Jogo via The Telegraph, Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Benfica's attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca.

The report states that a fee of £20 million has been agreed between the two clubs and that a move is likely to happen this week depending on work permit approval.

Talisca is an accomplished attacking midfielder who can play in all positions along the front-line and can also play as an out-and-out forward.

O Jogo have been running this story for about a month. We must have signed him about 6 times He's also been used at CM for most of the last 2 seasons as there are better players ahead of him in the attacking areas, says it all.

A bola is the gold standard for Portuguese football news. The others (Record, O Jogo) are definitely a little less reliable. Although, all of them one way or another are wrong every now and then.
