      Yea I love it.

Lallana should have shot there? If the pass isn't blocked it was likely a goal.

Is it me or is it looking like 4-3-3 again?

Looks that way although plenty of transition in 4-1-4-1.

We've got that many midfielders on the pitch we might go 2-7-1 shortly.

Your stream is miles ahead of mine, definitely should have shot.

Pretty simple equation when it comes to those, if it's only the keeper to beat then shoot, if a defender is also in the way then pass in my opinion.

Yeah, it's just I think most of us have been making sense of signings and the squad based on mainly playing 4-2-3-1 but as summer has gone on it's becoming clear 4-3-3 is going to be a system we could end up using plenty.

Just interesting to see which games we play which formations in etc

Ah right, nah there's been loads of talk that we were switching to 4-3-3 even before a lot of the signings came in. Not sure where it came from but it's on the boards, a lot reported by Debs I think.

I would expect us to start the season with 4-3-3

Alexander looks a real player, and I'm going to get shut about Mane and his fee, he looks the real deal, I'll be surprised if he doesn't regularly involve in most of our scoring.

See that's where Lallana's turns hurts people, said last season at one point that I think he could be a midfielder rather than a forward, that looked so natural for him.

Alexander-Arnold, did he not start at RB then move to CM with youth sides?

I know he is a midfielder but I have it in my head this pre season isnt the first team he has been at fullback.

Very good covering from Klavan, Lovren does get turned a little too easily there.

Milan compressing the midfield by playing such a high back line. Should give Sturridge a chance to show his pace given the right ball.

There has been some sh*te passing around edge of the box.

But otherwise you can certainly see patterns emerging in the way we press and move it through the middle of the park.

Henderson picks up the loose ball and literally accelerates towards his own goal before passing sideways with no pressure. Very odd.

Surely a pleasant surprise after two years of Moreno?
