He's got a way to go before he's on that level. Hopefully he bins you off in the same way Owen did to us though.

Very much so KK but I'm sure most premiership teams would like him on their books.

Well, that result is not a surprise. Have Utd played against a decent team throughout the whole tournament?

The Europa Cup is filled with mostly second rated teams (( yes that includes us before you remind me  ;D at the time of qualifying )) However, you can only beat what's put in front of you Dan.

Ajax is quite possibly the best of the bunch.

Regardless of the result on Thursday its not been that bad of a season anyway. Still going forward (( imo )) and that's what counts.

First time watching Ajax, and I must say, I am not impressed. Would have been better if Lyon went through tbh.

As for that Guidetti miss, wtf?

Would probably put my house down on Utd easily beating Ajax now, Morunho will do what he is best at, park the bus , stifle and frustrate direct attacking teams.

They really are so sh*t to watch, one of the luckiest teams ever to reach a European Final.

33% possession at home against a mid table Spanish team!

      Long may their delusion continue.

Right up there with Chelsea when they won the Champions League. These teams are not good adverts for our football!

      Where the winners enter
      • The UEFA Champions League winners enter in the UEFA Champions League group stage as normal.

      • The UEFA Europa League winners enter in the UEFA Champions League (at a minimum level of the play-offs).

      • The UEFA Europa League winners enter in the group stage if the UEFA Champions League winners qualify directly for the UEFA Champions League group stage via their domestic league programme. This is what happened the past two seasons after success for Barcelona and Real Madrid.

So it looks like the winner will enter into the group stage since both Juve and Real already qualified via their league if I'm reading that right.

Good post FL as I've been reading the same thing. However, I'm still not sure just what stage we come in if we win the competition  ;D

I am truly glad since I would not want to face Ajax in the qualifying games.
