I also reckon if Mignolet had the played at Bournemouth and against West Ham we'd have had another four points but I'm picking holes now and what's gone is gone.
We are well in this title race and need to keep the pressure on,the 31st of Jan is the big one.
Happy New Year and all the best...

Its funny how we are now saying that we could have picked up points with Migs . That is a turnaround.

I did say top four at the beginning of the season  but I'm quietly confident that we can come in first .

WE have to ensure that WE don't drop points and open up a larger gap .... whilst looking for the Chavs to stumble.

Changed my view.   Think that bringing Hart in on loan wouldn't go amiss for the second part of the season .
We sat deep at times and played Migs like a sweeper against City we had so many backpasses  but he still had his moment against Aguero which could have gone wrong.

      We can do it.

I went for 6 in prediction but were should finish in top 4.

I think we're need a replacement for Mane either from within or January transfer. He has been a difference in lot of games we have won.

Chelsea may dropped points but so will we.

ok, Spurs have scored, I don't think rent boys have trailed in this 13 game run have they, they are in new territory. If this result hold or it ends up as a tie, then we have actually come of second best during the holiday period just behind the scum.

£5m for a league two player (if I remember right) is a huge gamble. Cost more than Karius  :f_doh:

Good scouting should reduce that from a huge to a calculated gamble.

      1st.

Have a real good feeling about this season.

Still think we can win it.

Beating Chlesea when we meet them could be vital though.

They did it Rodders  and are hitting some serious form at the right time.

I can see the Spuds and ourselves battling it out come April / May .

We needed somebody to beat Chelsea and to stop their run even if it was Spurs who are looking very strong and are one of our main rivals.

Had Chelsea won last night I think it would have been game over. The gap would have been 8 points and they would have felt invincible. Now at least they know that they are beatable.

The two goals Spurs scored were almost identical too. Hopefully other teams pick up on this and focus on it.

Not only were Chelsea beaten but a lot of team will have noticed how to beat them, they are good but not that bloody good, its actually been a bit of a mystery to me how they have managed this run, but there have been a lot of 1-0's and playing some crappy teams etc. At the moment I see the title as being between us, Chelsea and Spurs and its impossible to call at the moment. One thing is for sure and that is that we have to bring a few of the youngsters into the team otherwise there is no way we will manage to keep the team fit and healthy enough to win the title, we have to rotate a bit more.
I also think that if we can beat both Manure and the Chavs this month then we will have a damn good chance at the title.

The AFCON and injuries have actually exposed the thiness of our squad. I think we need to bring in a few experienced players rather than relying on exclusively youth team players. I'm not fond of the idea of trusting our title push to inexperienced teenagers.

What started out as poor weekend for us changed when Arsenal drew and Chavski lost, that was a massive boost for us fans our disappointed players.

We now need to focus on playing well with confidence and impose ourselves on the opposition right from the whistle starting with the next game.  C'mon lets take the fight to them !!!

I really fancy us, 5 points off with some very difficult games done and dusted and with the chavs to come to Anfield.

Just need to keep focussed and stop dropping silly points.

The month April will be huge. If we can somehow get into the lead before April we should be favorites. We don't play any of the top six in this month. So polish of the the mid tablers and relegation fodder the title is as good as ours. Hoping that around that time I can start deciding on what bubbly to buy to celebrate!
