Not watched any of our friendlies, ignored virtually all the transfer talk. Be coming in rested and fresh, be interesting to see what Klopp can do when he has had a pre-season.

Any news regarding arsenal team? I read they have big CB problems.

I got feeling we will trash them.

They don't have any center halfs do they so this is perfect chance for us to press them hard and get off to a winning start.

Tough way to start any season - however I am pleased we get this one done and dusted early. No team has won the league in the first week so regardless of the result this wont be one I think we look back on and say 'if only'... Its a great situation to be in - if we lose its against a top team (make no mistakes, they are a top team at home) away for the first game of the season then its not the end of the world (aside from on here and RAWK). When we win, it will be a great result and we can all get very carried away!

A win would be fantastic and with Arsenal missing almost all of their CB's Couthino, Mane & Firmino could unleash a real beating. I would love to see Ings / Origi start as they both have a lot of energy will see us have tons of opportunities giving the aforementioned a little more room.

We have some frailties, again in defense and I expect Arsenal to channel a lot against our trusty LB.

If we get an early goal and go in leading at HT I can see the fans getting on their back big time - especially as there transfer window has not gone how many hoped it would. Lets do what Klopp teams do best and press the life out of them - with a young and second string defense we could have them in tatters very quickly...

I will have a problem to create next Sunday's live thread because my fiancee made double Prophylactic mastectomy and she will be still in hospital.

I do not have any time to create it. She needs my constant help and she deserves it.

I think we will draw this game and with some lucky we can win it.

Don't worry about the divvies and window-lickers in here, get your girl looked after and just enjoy watching the game on Sunday.

Whe I had an accident in my motorhome which was turned over on the motorway the first thing I did after climbing out of the wreckage was look for my bike.

                            Firmino

Koscielny is only just back from holiday after the Euros and hasn't had much training.  Mertesacker and Gabriel both injured.  I read it could be Chambers and Cocquelin as the CB pair on Sunday.  Welbeck also injured, and I heard that Sanchez and Giroud are both doubtful so it could be an ideal time to play them.

Regardless of their injuries, I think we are going to win and win big!!  We seem to have turned a corner under Klopp and the players like Lallana, Firmino, and Lovren who were playing below expectations under Brendan have stepped up a level or two.  I'll plop for a 3-0 win here :)

My right ear was on the Tarmac and I put her out through the broken windscreen and then I went trolling on the M6 looking for the bike.

Good to be back! Not sure too many conclusions can be drawn from this one. I'd actually start Origi up top. I think his energy can cause some problems for a team and backline that doesn't like being pressed much. Don't count out Ings off the bench as well.

The back 5 picks itself, but up front I find it difficult to guess which players Klopp has in mind. I hope Origi starts, but he might start with Firmino up top with Lallana behind.
