Is It true that Sunderland put the ball out of play in the first half to allow Terry a standing ovation?

Yes. "The Chosen One" agreed to it and told the team before the match.

And that is why he is such a pathetic figure.

Yep, Moyes admitted to it after the game. Pathetic!

While i'm here can I officially call Kane a top class striker now?

      Unreal.

What was wrong with just subbing him towards the end like normally happens?

I don't think I've heard of anything as ridiculous in football in all my life.

We all knew just how narcissistic John Terry was (see changing into his kit when he missed the CL Final) but this took it to new levels. But it also says everything you need to know about "The Chosen One" that he was more than willing to placate such narcissism. Then again this is the tw*t that spent most of his career with his tongue lodged firmly up Ferguson's arse, and using such 'contacts' to promote the delusion that he was one of the best British managers in the business.

Yeah lasted about 10 seconds in the press conference and then kept telling the mutv reporter that he had to get off.

That turn out for his post match press conference was a joke though :D There were about 3 reporters and nobody had a question for him :lmao:

What a pathetic excuse of a manager Moyes is, i heard that Everton fans were celebrating when he took the Scum job as they became depressed with his style of football there. Now even the mancs are making fun of him.

Ive just seen this on TV. There must of been 2/3 reporters, when asked any questions for Mourinho no one had anything to say...

Chelsea far too cringey for surely anybody to seriously want to support them.

On the podium and the ones being the biggest cocks were the ones who barely played a game all season.

Nathaniel Chalobah, selfie stick in hand, went on doing a dance with such joy on his face you'd swear he'd been their player of the season.

It makes you worry really if these guys are prepared for life after Chelsea when they inevitably fail to make the grade. They can't be Chelsea casuals forever.

If we ever win a trophy ever again, my only hope is that nobody takes a selfie stick with them.

The whole culture of that club baffles me. Maybe it's a London thing.

Poor Gary Cahill just wanted to get home and get away from them.

Just had a look at the final table.

15 pints separate the Ev in 7th and Saints in 8th, and only 6 points between them and Watford who finished just outside the relegation zone.

Can't recall a time when someone in 8th had so little points.

Out of this world! One of England's great clubs Huddersfield are back in the top flight! Wow - David Wagner has achieved a small miracle to get Town up.

Went to the friendly between Liverpool and Huddersfield last July and it was a great away experience and aside from Rafa's Newcastle they were the team I wanted to see do well. Wonderful stadium perched on the side of the town. I would never have guessed back on that warm Wednesday evening that they'd be promoted within a year. One of the finest achievements I've seen in football in a long long time. Stand up Wagner and co - you have done something quite sensational.
