Even though they drew - 60 points from 25 games is something pretty special.  Can't have been done too many times in the entire history of the top division ie. before football was invented in 1992!

Dyche has made Burnley into a very decent team - especially at home.

Indeed. Also puts into perspective how impressive 95 points was from that Mourinho-led Chelsea side.

Chelsea drew with Burnley 1-1  ;D i do not believe we can catch them, But it is not important whether I believe, it is whether the team believes they can... Hopefully they use the slip by Chelsea and the win over Tottenham to drive them on'thus securing a CL spot...

Down side is that it will spur on Arsenal,City and Utd... Still Chelsea still have to play City 5/4/17, UTD 15/4/17 and there are the games between City vs Utd ...Arsenal vs City...Tottenham vs Arsenal....Arseanl vs Utd... Tottenham vs Utd these games hold massive importance for us as well as Our games against 4/3/17 Arsenal 19/3/17 City,,,

The games that have me concerned given our record against minor opposition are the games against the likes of Leicester, Burnley,Bournemouth,Stoke,  West Brom,Palace. West Ham and Middlesbrough... Three of these are in and around the relegation zone with a further four or five that could so easily be drawn into that fight, and that's our worry... In that event some of these team will be only too willing to park the bus, and as we find it difficult to say the least of breaking down that sought of defense it becomes a worry... Still the upside to that is a few of the teams fighting it out for a top four finish will face the same problems...

from Saturday 25th February sh!t becomes real interesting...

If Chelsea do win the title, will Kante become the first player to win back to back title's with different clubs?

I'm guessing so given that players have rarely swapped between the big clubs, and the title has normally been between them.

Good goal by Brady! Wanted us to sign him in the summer and would have liked us to go for him this last transfer window too. Good player.

I remember reading that Mark Schwarzer did it last season, but hardly played at either Chelsea or Leicester, but got the medals all the same

Just been trying to think of players who have won them at two clubs though.. I got
      Tevez - City&Utd
      Cole - Arsenal&Chelsea
      Kolo - Arsenal&City
      Clichy - Arsenal&City

Have to have played a set amount of games to get a medal, can't see him having played enough in both the seasons combined let alone in one of them campaigns.

Mourinho later invited Schwarzer back to the club's end-of-season dinner and gave him a Premier League winners' medal for his services in the title-winning campaign.

He only got the medals as a token gesture.

But the league says that for a player to qualify for a medal they have to make 5 appearances as a minimum. If a player doesn't make the number of appearances then the club have to request and order any additional medals. Which was my point and I'm not sure what you are trying to say by posting them 2 links.

      Jeez

I said in my original post that I'd read he was the first to recieve them back to back,  that he got two medals but hardly played

I only posted the links to say he had been given them but had hardly played

I then said that I was trying to think of others who had won two with different clubs,  meant to be just a thought thrown out there

I don't get why people need to be so argumentative on here about everything, just to be proven right  :confused-smiley-013:

No need to get like that. I wasn't disagreeing with you in the first place, I never said he wouldn't have gotten a medal, just that it would have had to of been upon request so get down off your horse because I'm not trying to prove anybody right or wrong. You are the one who started posting links with nothing else as if to say I was wrong when like I said, I wasn't disagreeing in the first place.

Cantona was the first one back in '93.
