After watching the analysis of Man Utd v Chelsea on Motd, the attention to detail that Mourinho put in to that game was unbelievable,  for the players to carry it out to the letter even more so. A lesson to all managers and players who take the game seriously.

Very well put Paul. Mourinho may have his haters (( understandably))  but his talent in his tactics today reminded me of why I think he will turn the club around.

His tactics against a side he knows inside-out impresses you?

What about the 30 other matches?

Well, suddenly he is a "master tactician", according to them. You know Scum are unbeaten in the league for 22 games, yes, 22 F***ing games, that leaves them in the almighty 5th position. Master Tactician!

I hate Chelsea so much, but the thought of another team winning the League (Tottenham) which is not us is painful. We saw it with Leicester last year. I dont want new teams winning the league and us lagging behind - so I hope Chelsea win   :couch:

Well 22 games unbeaten is quite an excellent record whichever way you look at it, and they've lost the joint least games as well. They are not as terrible as people make out to be.

I despise both Chelsea and Spurs but I have disliked the latter for a lot longer and I am bordering on desperate for Chelsea to win the title.

The main point is, they are the most expensive squad assembled ever. When you look at that stat, they are F***ing sh*te. Add to that, they will spend even more next summer.

I don't think tactics alone can turn a club around. They can win you individual matches on their own but you can't rely on tactics alone to guide you to titles.

You need to have a long term vision and an identity to your style of play and a strategic approach to the transfer market. Man Utd need strategy and they just don't have that. There's no ambition to carve out an identity. Mourinho only operates on the here and now, only plans on stopping people rather than playing his own game. His whole existence has relied on throwing the chequebook around while others in the leagues couldn't compete meaning his achievements in football are down to financial doping.

The turn around of the club won't be from the league, he should be focusing on EL. Spurs are the in form club, if nothing changes Spurs will beat united. I think City and United will draw, you will probably beat Arsenal... that is 4 points dropped with not many games left. Regardless of the Chelsea victory it is all in vein. If United don't beat Anderlecht Jose will get more hate a lot of hate from United fans. I already have popcorn. Anyway, Tottenham Hotspur V Manchester United 14th of May. This will be one sided.

Been saying that all season but spent virtually all of it in 6th place getting the worst home record out of the likes of Moyes and LVG

Some valid points Franky but honestly feel Mourinho might just of found his swan song in being United manager. Only time will tell if he see's his contract out or even longer. No doubting he only wants to go too clubs that have the money to spend. That doesn't bother me personally though. As fans we just want to see success again. He's going the right way as far as I'm concerned.

22 games undefeated for his first year in charge are good signs. Obviously far to many draws in that but can only get better for me. This United fan really happy at the moment. Icing on the cake would be winning the Europa Cup for qualification in the CL.

22 games unbeaten but still well off the pace. He's a draw specialist and had it not been for Ibra this season, United would have been in a whole world of sh*t.

I'm not too concern with our premiership position as I can't see us getting 4th via that route. No surprises if Spurs beat us, then again I didn't think we could beat Chavs. Certainly don't think fans will turn if we don't beat Aderlecht, certainly not this one anyway.   ;D

Arsenal playing 3-5-2. Oxlade is as a WB and getting torn to pieces by Ramirez so far. Arsenal looking very poor again
