To be honest, I don't think we defended that badly against Arsenal. How many clear cut chances did they make? One for Ramsey and a penalty.

They scored three goals - all from dodgy defending - but that was about it. The first one, Lallana tries one his infuriating drag backs in the middle of the park, loses it and they hit us essentially on the counter because we've all gone gung ho - Moreno more than most. There's a famous saying in football that you're at your weakest defensively, when you've just scored. And that's what happened with their second. At 4-1, game done. They've just switched off and allowed Arsenal a lifeline. Third one, it's a set piece. Enough said, although we did do better with them on the whole than we have in recent seasons.

Sanchez hardly touched the ball. Walcott scored but did little else. Chamberlain scored but did little else. Carzola had one shot from about 40 yards that was closer to the bar in the Queen Vic than the one on top of Mignolet's goal. Iwobi is sh*t. Ramsey did little.

Arsenal at home are gonna have chances. They're gonna dominate a vast amount of their games there so to limit them to so few clear cut chances is a start, in my opinion. Once they'd got it back to 4-3, I thought we looked strong as a defensive unit again. Did they ever look close to getting the equaliser?

For me, the defending wasn't so big of a problem - more the concentration levels.

We conceded 3 goals and they missed a penalty. Bit like saying apart from the 3 bullets that hit Kennedy the motorcade went off without a hitch :)

Yeah I know mate but I think we've defended much worse at points over the past 12 months than we did against Arsenal.

We don't know how good Arsenal are right now. They might lose the first 3 games, who knows? He is right to question our  defence because Arsenals goals were preventable and we can't always score a 4 goals like that. I feel confident for our next game, but once we get to Spurs... I worry about Migopenet and Morelameo.

I'll tell you how good they are right now, they're not as good as Liverpool.

They might lose the first 3 games, who knows?

Alternatively they may the next 10 games but who gives a F**k how Arsenal get on?

He is right to question our  defence

      Nobody said he wasn't.

      because Arsenals goals were preventable

      All goals are preventable.

we can't always score a 4 goals like that.

      No, sometimes we'll score more.

I feel confident for our next game

You're feeling confident, are you feeling alright?

Ah there we go, that's more the pessimism I expect. F**k Spurs. You worry about going to a ground where we haven't conceded in the League for the past 3 years. 5-0, 3-0, 0-0 and you're worrying?

Do you realise how childish and pathetic you come across writing those "names"? I bet you're at home proper tickled pink with yourself.
