Well done Leicester they are in the Quarters.

Well if they get Bayern in the next round I cant see Bayern scoring 10, they have some guts.

What Leicester lack in talent they more than make up for in that never die attitude, some of our losers could learn a lot.

Now just wait for those flat earth cu*ts like Pulis and Sam Allardyce to demand that Shakespeare be given the England job on the back of these opportunistic couple of weeks.

Also a great attitude to effectively get a manager sacked.

To be fair the people who knock him because he's English are just as bad.

Doing a good job at Leicester and if reports are to be believed has done a lot with them last season too while Ranieri was back and too to Italy.

Players are playing for him anyway. Fair play to him. Be nice to see some English coaches in our English league, nothing little englander about that.

Credit where it's due. Thought they'd get mullered in the away leg and yet they stuck in there and took that into tonight's encounter. Bit of luck helped them on their way, but we all need that.

Never thought I'd see a side of Leicester's stature reach the CL quarter finals in my lifetime. Having won the league as well. Ridiculous really.

Can you imagine if they went on to win the Champions League the year after winning the league, how ridiculous would that be? :lmao:

I think that's why some think Ranieri got shafted.  They showed good signs in that first leg of a turnaround.  Then obviously next game they got to play us so that was a guaranteed 3 points for them. ;)

I can't see them winning it, but out of interest, I assume that if they win it then 4th place doesn't get a CL spot.  If they win this, the Mancs win the Europa then you can't have 6 teams from one country in it can you?

Pretty sure if Mancs win Europa and finish outside top 4 then only top 3 teams get in, would assume if LC won CL then only top 2 would get in?

5 English teams can get into the CL on condition that one of Man Utd or Leicester win their European competition. If both win then isn't that the condition that takes 4th place away?

They've been incredibly lucky with their CL draws as well, Leicester.
Undoubtedly still enjoying their rise in form that happens so often after a manager gets sacked. Can't wait for them to get brought down to earth by a strong team like Bayern or Madrid.

      Mbappe the scorer.

I honestly think Ousmane Dembele is the only young player better than Mbappe at the moment

Clichy is one of those players who am always surprised when I see playing these days as in 'oh yeah - that guy!'. He's persisted for the last 10-13 years as a prominent left back for Arsenal or Man City and yet he has rarely been mentioned in discussions by fans or football. Quiet but consistent career.

Fabinho is such a good player! Think he would be a great addition to Barcelona, who're in need of a right back. He's also versatile and does a great job in midfield. Would be such a good signing to any club really.

Think fullback will be one of the top priorities for Pep next season. Both sides.

Sagna, Zabaleta, Clichy, Kolarov - all past their best, over 30 years of age, probably in high salaries.

If they can move some of them on and bring some fresh talent, I'm sure they'll do it.

Leno keeping Leverkusen in the game. Two fantastic saves in quick succession.

So many good players in this Monaco side. Mendy, Fabinho, Bernando Silva and Mbappe in particular.
