I reckon Dani Alves could go on for another 3-4 seasons at top level with Juventus!

You know, watching this game really makes me think our biggest weakness is at both FB spots. It really changes your team when you have attacking FBs that can actually attack.

It certainly helps but let's not get carried as we have issues all over the pitch just as important as the full backs.
I know it's become fashinable to blame all our attacking woes on the fullbacks, and it's certainly warranted however knowing their limitations they are certainly not being helped.

Knowing our fullbacks are not going to beat the opposition in 1v1 they need more help from the front 3.
Look at how narrow Coutinho and Firmino play so where is the chance of a overlap or a quick 1-2?

Look at City they quickly identify the chance of creating a overload on either side of the pitch and create miss matches with their full backs who are pretty similar to ours in ability but they recognise their limitations and get a lot more help to create gaps for them to exploit with quick crisp passing.

Athletico score 2 goals inside 20 mins, game on! I really hope they do it. I've long since forgiven Torres for leaving us, I hope he scores the winner.

Benzema allowed to beat 3 men on the byline, that was embarrassing defending by Atletico. After clawing their way back into it to give away such a cheap chance was pathetic really.

Good save by Oblak and Isco first to react, diabolical from Atletico's outfielders there though. Can't see them coming back from here now though, they probably need to get Ramos sent off as poor gamesmanship as that sounds.

Think they can mate, but yeah was hoping for Atletico to stop them tonight and they started to give me a little bit of hope. Isco playing bloody brilliantly too, he'd be awesome for us.

Shame that Real got that goal before half time - killed the game a bit.

Completely bypassed me that Atletico were moving grounds - one of the few big grounds I've watched a game in abroad and it had a real charm to it.  I imagine then that they are moving to some kind of soulless megadrome?? Shame.

Genuinely thinking we should be backing Juve for the final.  Who's everyone wanting to win?

Has to be Juve, but really anyone v Real. Don't like Juve that much either but think they're one of the few teams that can completely shut down Real. Not saying it will be comfortable but I'd make Juve favourites.

My only concern is the ultimate bottler they have up front for Juventus.

Wait you mean Higuain? Didn't he have like 30+ goals this year?

Higuain and Cavani mate both known as big game bottlers.

      This.

I wouldn't mind Cavani or Higuain vs the lesser clubs, but vs the big clubs, semi & finals, I wouldn't trust them at all.

Zidane manages Madrid to two finals in his first two years as a senior manager. Madrid become the first team to win back to back CL's. Ronaldo wins 4 Balon D'Or. Don't bet on Juve winning. The headlines have already been written. With Perez's contacts it will be difficult to stop this. Expect a ridiculous decision in the final.
