      Arsenal (a)
      Burnley (a)
      Spurs (a)
      Leicester (h)
      Chelsea (a)

10 points from those games is not a bad return at all, I would go as far as to say if they came in a slightly different order we would be even more ecstatic! Some seriously tough games out of the way already for the season.

We've built the momentum now lets carry it forward:
      Hull (h)
      Swansea (a)
      Man Utd (h)
      West Brom (h)
      C Palace (a)
      Watford (h)

Obviously we can't take anything for granted, as we have already learned this season, but F**k it if you can't feel excited now, whats the point of being a fan!? Come on you Reds!!!!

Felt it was going to be an evenly matched affair going into it, but it turned out that we were a step ahead at all times and won fairly comfortably in the end.

Solid performance all round marked by a terrific goal from Hendo. Hesitate to say it, but a lot more confident about the season now!

Maybe not, I am not trying to take the shine off of a great night,, but some here have rubbish Henderson for most of last season and this season and with good reason, and now suddenly he has a wonder goal we are all meant to forgot about how poor he has been???

Now having said that even without the goal he played well tonight, same good for Lovern, and Lallana,,, For me it was a toss up between Milner and Henderson for MOTM.... Henderson just edge it... And if people think that I gave it to Henderson in order to appease anyone here,Then you don't know me

      F**k off.

You ignore the great season he had before injuries, put all the weight on the game he played whilst unfit or injured and now he's fit again, try to pan off good performances once again. Just admit it, you got it wrong. Don't worry you're not the only one who did about Jordan.

Or some of us remember how good he was before the injuries, etc.

In fact, I remember how a lot of people, including myself, were gutted when he picked up a ban at the end of the 13/14 season and believe it contributed to us not winning the league. Before you go accusing people of having short memories sort your own out.

      MotM by some way tonight.
Thing is that I have never really rated Henderson, But I understand that there are some here who do and I can respect that...

I just don't get 'supporters' like you. Football is an emotional game. At its vey essence it's people kicking a bag of air around, emotion is what draws us to it. If you can't even enjoy a win only a few hours after the final whistle, against a club who are the absolute epitome of what 'we' (Liverpool) stand against (in my opinion), then what is the F***ing point. You may aswell support the local volleyball team you'd get more enjoyment out of it!

Aye, you should be sorry for calling yourself a Liverpool supporter.
You must live in such a fragile little world that anyone who says anything that remotely differs from your view of how you see LFC,It's players and your view of how a supporter of the club should act and carry themselves, your little world just falls apart

You have to attack supporters with view that differ from your own spouting things like "you should be sorry for calling yourself a Liverpool supporter" or go and support Chelsea... I'll bet that when Liverpool lose you are one of those people who kicks the Cat/Dog
You had better get use to it real fast, for this is a site for debating, and here's a revelation.... No one view is the right one... Me like it or not I will continue to voice my opinion no matter what you or anyone else says

We can pick faults tomorrow. As of tonight we have picked up 7 points from 9 away to Chelsea, Arse, Spurs and beat the champions at home.

We've played a blinder tonight and i f**king loved it, we're gone win the league calling it now!

I agree, but i'm too scared to say it, sh*t, I just have......

Lovren, Matip, Henderson and Wjnaldum were excellent. Our strike force weren't at the races today. Mignolet made a great save against Costa but I'll still be glad to see Karius between the sticks. We still need a specialised DM and a Left Back to have a complete squad but seem to be coped alright without them! We've been the most impressive team in the league along with City.
      Roll on the fixture list!

Explained already... I have no problem people enjoying the win, so they should... I have no problem with people liking Jordan Henderson... The problem that I had was reading post from those people who where claiming two or three weeks ago that Jordan Henderson should not be at the club, then on the back of tonight "wonder goal" doing a 360 degree saying that he is now the best thing since sliced bread...Hypocrisy

I doubt the wonder goal from Jordan has swayed any of those who were saying he should be sold.

In fact seeing as though the thread is only half the size compared to when we lose I imagine the miserable fuckers can't be bothered to post!

I get where you are coming from but it's the fact that we beat Chelsea on their turf and Hendo was in my eyes MOTM and you come out all guns picking holes in our captain. Doesn't make sense if you had just watched the same game everyone else on here had.

I am just back and would officially like to say Jason Kundy is the c@4t of the highest order. He was slagging of Liverpool on Taslkshite and our Jamie had to call up.

Anyway, we won and I predicted the score too. :)

Oh I certainly haven't gone and verified it mate :D I've taken him at his word, feel free to tell me if it's wrong.

      http://www.thisisanfield.com/2016/09/video-JĆ¼rgen-klopp-post-match-press-conference-chelsea-1-2-liverpool/

Interesting post match, would draw people's attention to JĆ¼rgen's answer after 6mins regarding Sturridge. I thought for sure there would be something noted about a niggle, to be subbed off after that short that wasn't down to 'match fitness' and JĆ¼rgen stating that 'he couldn't sprint' a bit of a dig there imo and with quite some justification.
