Herrera saying he was 'very proud' of a draw.

And... "that's the way we have to play"...

I thank F**k, every day of my life, that I don't support the sh*te that is Man U.

In the heat of the moment  I'm annoyed was pretty much text book Mourinho and we had nothing different. Klopp and the players around him talked it up that they had a plan but effectively it was exactly what Mourinho planned for.

If we didn't have the international break I think we would have had the momentum to grab the winner.

All of the above aside, so glad we have a manager trying to play football rather than trying to be happy at getting a draw away to your biggest rival

It's not that difficult. He's flapped at most of the crosses and his kicking is on a par with Migs. And at 23 years of age, you aren't exactly a boy anymore.

      :lmao:

Loris Karius, you're utter sh*te, the worst of the worst, worse than Mignolet because you didn't concede and never really got tested with a proper shot on goal. How dare you!

Shameful coverage from Sky Sports. Don't even bother reading the player ratings, United players scoring 7s mostly and Liverpool scoring 5s.

      85 mins

What have we learned tonight? Liverpool are a much better team with Adam Lallana in instead of Daniel Sturridge.

Although we knew that didn't we?

      http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/37155428

      BBC Sport.

      Have to agree .

Many of us have been saying that for a while mate. I just wonder how Jürgen will react to the stark contrast the moment the change was made.

Make no mistake if Ings does get moved up the pecking order then it probably spells the end to Studge's career at Liverpool. Are we at that stage? Keeping Ings in the ressies you might assume that Jürgen thinks he simply isn't good enough for the first team so are we actually in the market for a striker come Jan?

From what we've seen of Origi this season he's not had the most minutes but again hasn't convinced. It's a tough one for Jürgen in my opinion because to make that move I think he has to be absolutely convinced that Studge isn't simply going through a bad spell. We'll see, my bet is that he'll stick with it for now but it isn't too far from happening.

Not going to dwell on any negatives.

A big positive tonight was Matip. He looks like he's been here years.

He made mistakes but because of ibra`s positioning and shitty header they weren`t costly, lucky him.

I'm not going to get into it but yes, he was far from perfect but nobody covered themselves in glory for the majority of the game. Him flapping at the ball was no different to the outfield players constantly giving the ball away with poor and sloppy passes.

Like the way it's been forgotten how Karius turned away a dangerous ball across the 6 yard box with confidence and got it away from danger.

Karius, like everyone else on that pitch, I expect to see better from but for Karius and the defence, that clean sheet will be a massive confidence boost, it's the same as when an attacker scores a goal.

Just dissappointed we didn't have a bit more going forward.
They mostly had a back line of 6 so no way they come for anything but  a draw

Whoever came up with these ratings at Sky Sports needs F***ing sacking...

      Liverpool: Karius (4), Clyne (6), Matip (6), Lovren (6), Milner (5), Henderson (6), Can (6), Coutinho (5), Firmino (5), Mane (5), Sturridge (5)

Used subs: Lallana (5), Origi (n/a), Moreno (n/a)

      Man Utd: De Gea (8), Valencia (6), Bailly (6), Smalling (6), Blind (6), Fellaini (6), Pogba (6), Rashford (6), Herrera (8), Young (7), Ibrahimovic (5)

Used subs: Rooney (5), Shaw (n/a)

Karius didn't concede yet got a worse rating than everybody else on the pitch. Rooney did absolutely F**k all when he came on yet got the same as Milner, Mane & Coutinho.

I'll take that point and we can just move on.

Yep, we could maybe have nicked it, but Utd might have nicked a win too which would've been pretty awful after recent PL matches gainst them.

People's comments on Karius are f**king hilarious. I guess you've got to bi*ch about something considering we didn't lose.

I don't see the problem mate, it's not like he's getting a ton of stick, just a few posters noticing that he looks very uncomfortable when the ball is in flight, he has looked nervous and Indecisive in those situations although we have yet to be punished. It might be a case of getting the hang of the EPL but he does look a bit shaky you have to admit? Usually keepers that are a little bit shorter (than the usual 6 "4) are quite aggressive when the ball is in the air (think Pepe Reina) but Karius hasnt (so far)

Does indeed.  He's the first centre-back on the teamsheet IMO.

I just wonder how Jürgen will react to the stark contrast the moment the change was made.

I think we saw last season when Sturridge was injured how good we looked in the bigger games with the Firmino, Coutinho, Lallana trio involved.

Sturridge has still got a job to do at Liverpool but sadly for him I see him being used more against the bottom half sides than the top half sides and that isn't going to go down well with him.

If Lallana had been training all week he would have started tonight.  We know it, Lallana and Sturridge know it.

Next time anyone questions Gini's qualities some one point him in this direction!

I don't think many people have, have they? Unless I've missed something.

I know we always look to beat the Mancs and get one over on them. But I think in the long run a point won't be the worst result in the world. A point and a clean sheet against a team with the same aspirations as us (and a lot more financial muscle). Keep in mind they turned us over in both league games last season, so the progression is there, they were adamant to shut us out too, we all know what a Mourinho team does. The biggest factor here is that they didn't rob a painful 1-0, we have a lot to take from that game.

I think we seen tonight the impact Wijnaldum has in the middle of the park, and Lallana too for that matter. We couldn't get a foot on the ball and control it at all. It felt like organised confusion for most of the match. I'm not blaming Can or Coutinho, that was a very tough game to have such a change forced on us, yet we didn't buckle.

I think there are a lot more positives than negatives to come out of that, and lets face it what keeper in this league other than De Gea keeps out Can and Coutinho? Still marching on with Jurgens Reds!
