It's a no brainer this. Should have been introduced ages ago at PL level.

Not sure where this should go. Looked and didn't find anything about the subject. Apologies if there is already a thread or it should go onto another board.

Wondering how you veterans of terraces feel about this?

For those who have only known all-seaters, how is what they are doing different than the old days? It looks like there is a barrier at every row which, stories from fans seem to indicate was not the case back then.

Found it in here so merged for you, mate.

Heard about this through the media the other day. Encouraging stuff.

Think you've asked the right questions in regards to this as there'll be a lot of people in here who used to go to the game before all seating was installed.

When I used to stand in the Kop, I used to love the feeling of being part of a crowd if that makes sense? I think it spurs on a togetherness nature more than everyone just sitting there observing.

If it was introduced to Anfield in the future, I would be all for it.

We must always take into account the thoughts of family, friends and survivors of Hillsborough, though.

Having stood on the old kop, the difference with the rail-seating is that it isn't terracing. It's like going the match now only having that bar in front to lean on while standing in your seat space.

Still can't believe this wasn't looked into for the premier league clubs.

Using Shrewsbury as a trial balloon perhaps?

Hahaha I love some of the phrases Americans use!!

I started going in the Kop in when I was about 13 I was smart enough to stand with the barrier to my back and I never ever felt unsafe.
I think the Kop held 25,000 in those days imagine the noise it could make compared to half that capacity now.
Its not going to happen now these are different days and understandably a lot of people feel very uneasy at standing sections.
The truth is and the practicalities are that people stand when the team attacks the end your sitting and I challenge anyone to remain seated when we are in full flow. Asking people to remain seated is just nonsense
