Such an odd decision to waste 30 seconds of stoppage time to make substitution that late. Don't know why Klopp left it so late to change the team...

Poor from the gaffer today for me, coutinho and can struggled virtually the whole game should have made changes well earlier

Didn't play well but still had the chances to win it so a bit gutted in all honesty.

Important to get the clean sheet and not lose though.

15 attempts with just 2 on target and there lay our problem today.

Klopp made too many mistakes today. We all knew that Coutinho and Firmino were going to be rubbish after coming back from International break. Surprise, surprise, they were both appalling. Coutinho was actually the worst player on the pitch (out of both teams!!).

Can't believe both lasted until the end of the game.

Sturridge came on far, far, far too late and was not even given a chance by our useless midfield.

No urgency. Even at the end, Klopp had to run down the line shouting at the players to do something. They were literally walking around with the ball at that point.

Complete waste of a game.  :f_steam:

Well considering how they set up I'm surprised not to see them celebrating like they've won the cup. Almost no intent to win the game from them at home and in the end they got what they came for.

No doubting who is walking off the pitch thinking 2 points that have got away, we created plenty enough to put them away on a dismal afternoon.

I thought the international game and travel clearly took it's toll on our Brazilian boys. The big miss clearly being Lallana, had he been available we might not have had to even start Cou.

It is what it is though, another dominant performance and plenty of positives to take from it if not the 3 points. Just a real shame that we couldn't take one of those chances, the Clyne header and Bobby miss sit strongest in the memory.

We cant win every game and if you don't win em it's important not to concede. A bit baffled that Studge sat on his arse for so long because he really should have been on at the 60 minute mark, Origi for the last 4 minutes was also a head-scratcher. On another day we win that 1-0. 4 very winnable games coming up so it's not the end of the world. They really did park the fookin bus didn't they!

It does show that we are just that little bit short of depth though.

F***ing hell. Thought we played very well, just lacked that bit of finess in our finishing.
F**k the international breaks!!! Another draw after the break.

Aside from general quality we missed Lallana's guile today.

Every future title winning side has a break from winning games every now and again.

Saints make their fans come out in the pissing rain to watch their team play like that with no intention of entertaining them. Shameful.

That last pass from Coutinho summed up his game today not quite on it.

I can't remember any killer passes.

2 points dropped :( We were the far better team, but then again, they just sat back and allowed us to play which we rarely did.

This tean with suarez and the league title would be won. As it is, going to be some excruciating games like that 1 because Southampton won't be the last team to park the bus against us.

Got to bury your chances when they come. We got in the end what our finishing deserved.

Not that I keep track but I believe I heard March, hopefully I'm wrong and it's sometime in 2050 but unfortunately it probably is March. Can't bloody stand them.

Yep Can, Firmino, Matip and Clyne all had decent chances to score.

White display from a home side too in my opinion.

I'd take March at this point, feels like we've been having one every two weeks. Talk about momentum killers.
