Wouldnt worry, that record for being the world's worst boring bell whiffer doesn't look like it's getting taken off you anytime soon. Ever.

TAA putting Moteno and Clyne to shame with that performance hes great isnt he.

I wouldn't say he is putting Clyne to shame - Clyne's been brilliant for us.  We're definitely boxed off at right back now anyway.

That was what I would call a satisfying win. On a night where our full strength team would probably have blown Leeds out of the water, we witnessed the faith Klopp has in the entire squad, and they didn't let him down.

Missed the game due to work, but glad we got over the line.

How was Stewart? Thought he has been gash past few games so wondered if he picked it up??

Only saw second half and given the number of changes / the side put out, delighted with the win and the clean sheet.

Gave MOTM to Origi, for the finish for his goal, his work in the lead up to the 2nd where he did great to get the ball to Winjaldum, and generally working hard all night. With Cou and Studge out, really need Origi to stay fit and in current form.  Nice to see the kid Woodburn score too.

Think Jürgen will be well pleased, run out for those players, no extra time, still interest in the Cup, and move onto Bournmouth :)

Indeed Clyne has nothing to be ashamed about, in fact been a 7/10 player all season....... Mr Reliable

      Loved the goals..

Can didn't half plod about in midfield though.. does my head in.

Lucas nailed the captains roll and deservedly got motm for me after what he must be going through right now.

One game away from a final... again !.. bring it on !!

Still too many bed wetters around for my liking.

15 games unbeaten, 3 clean sheets on the bounce, through to the semi finals, 2nd in the league.

What more does the team have to do for you to believe?

Best of our midfielders on the night though and upped his game when he dropped back after Stewart went off.

Shout out to Gini for that little flick to Woodburn.
Origi too grafted for that win. Goal and a layoff to Gini.
      Well done Redmen.

A good result to end a tough day. Into the semifinals and hopefully on the way to collect some silverware.

I was disgusted at some Leeds fans singing about Munich on the bus on the way to Anfield, but happy to have witnessed an impeccable moment of silence. I guess those idiots were just on the minority anyway.

Anyone else find tears mysteriously in their eyes after Woodburn's goal? I'm getting to be such an old sap I tell you.

Re Divock Origi. I think it can almost be a disadvantage for him at times to know that he's stronger than almost anybody he'll come up against. I mean his ability to keep the ball at his feet is other-worldly, but at times he'd be better served to play a simple ball and keep it moving.

I was very nervous midway through the  half, but in the end it is a very nice win. Keep it going LFC!

Solid win,  happy for Woodburn. Thought Wijnaldum looked sh*te last night without the first XI around him.

Yeah suppose so. But I think TAA has a better eye for a pass or cross than both of them

Yeah suppose so. But I think TAA has a better eye for a pass or cross than both of them

He has been brought through playing either in the middle of the park or in the three behind the forward throughout his youth career, only converted to RB in the last year or so.. That's likely the reason his eye for a pass is better.

I really like the look of him, looks a real talent and I would think if his improvement continues he will become a fixture and possibly further forward like he has played before. But there is also other reasons kids like him stand out in early games, one they have the talent but two the opposition don't tend to focus on them too much in terms of He's a real danger on the ball, don't give him a second to get his head up... The real test comes when opposition managers start to have plans for them.

I'm genuinely excited by Trent though, out of any of this bunch of kids and I include Ovie and Ben I think Trent has the best chance of having a long term future for us

Clyne is very underrated, he is a very good full back.

Wow I must have been watching a different game to everyone else, I thought we were fairly sh*t for most of that match, a real case of talented individuals (us) against a team (Leeds). There were so so many misplaced passes and getting caught in possession, especially from the senior players. We only really improved in the last 20 minutes but thank God they hadn't scored before that otherwise I think we would have been in trouble.
I'm also getting slightly pissed off with how slow Klopp is at making subs, at the beginning of that second half we were completely over run in midfield but no changes were made, why?
Very promising from TAA and Woodburn though, less so from Ejaria and Stewart.

The only senior player who impressed was Origi (my MOTM), Lucas worked hard, and I'm sure he was choked up with emotions, but he is no CB.
