He only has himself to blame....Jürgen will not stand for any nonsense, ruthless to the end and you can't blame him, and that's why we are were we are in the League  ;)

What has actually happened with him? Obviously we know about the turning up late and interrupting an interview which I think warrants being sent home from the tour but I wanna know what happened between the end of that tour and the start of the season.

He has really pissed Klopp off whatever it is.

Think it still started with the drugs ban,  whether or not it was ultimately legal he still took stuff without informing the club doctor

Then in the summer he was advised to get his head down but started the tour by turning up late for the flight out, then turned up late to functions over there including squad meals. Missed a training session and then the pissing around in that interview at alkatraz

He was then told to go out on loan to show he wanted to try to rebuild his Liverpool career which he turned down.

Late night instagram rants were the eventual last straw

Really unfortunate what happen with him,i think he was our best defender so i'm really sad to see him go,but perhaps Klopp knows better.
It would be nice to buy Sule to replace him though,he might be able to sort out some of our defending from crosses

Better than Matip?? Better than Lovren (on current form)?? I'd even argue that Klavan is better. IN any case even if he was a superstar defender then you can't have someone in the team who is a pr**k and disrespects the boss.

I said he "was" and yes i rate him better than Lovren and Klavan,Matip is above him though.
And if you want a reminder of his quality just rewind the game against United in Europa League

Would make sense considering Fonte has handed in a transfer request.

Should charge them £20-25m, we have to bend over for their demands all the time.

Will be happy to Just get back what we paid, he has not really done much to increase his value.

That means nothing when you factor in what the market is like today though. Djilobodji cost £8m, James Tomkins cost £10m, £10m isn't enough to get you an inexperienced Chilwell, Ashley Williams cost £12m, Bailly cost £35m, Southampton would want £40-50m for Van Dijk, £50m gets you a calamity in John Stones etc...

IMO his market value is £20m or more regardless of his current situation.

I get what your saying but outside of the Top teams in the PL no one is going to pay more than £20M for a defender and none of the top teams will want Sakho.

Only way we get that sort of money is if PSG come back for him.

I'd happily take Fonte off their hands while we're at it.

Why a 33-yr old now esp with Matip, Lovren and Klavan doing reasonably well?

I really rate Ward-Prowse and Targett, although the latter is down with a hamstring injury!

Might be a good deal for him to go to Southampton as they still have two games to play at Anfield this year.

He's a good CB and would add experience with Lucas seemingly on his way out.

With Gomez back fit unless we sell someone then it makes no sense.

Ultimately - this is it. In a nutshell.
