There's a new rule in China where teams are only allowed 3 foreign players in their team/squad. Previously it was 4 or 5 so some teams are in the process of offloading some of the lesser foreign players. They'll be less arsed about defenders than midfielders & attackers making up the quota.

Think they'd be very good together mate but I also respect the need for discipline. Some will say cutting your nose off to spite your face and they could have a point but have to trust Jürgen on this one.

In terms of purely defending I always rated him though and always thought he was better than Lovren in that department. Professionalism, stemming back to Brendan's days there was also always doubts to be fair (Storming out of the Derby as I remember).

I believe it was 3 things he was late for mate, not just one. The plane, training and a dinner, but don't quote me on that as it's just from memory. As you say though there will be more to it than just 1 breach.

So even take away the not telling the club doctors about the drugs he was taking which they are obligated to do so, they have to clear a vicks vapor rub with them Ffs. . He then took the piss

Fair enough, but surely the fact that he wanted to stay and prove himself in the ressies was a good thing, going on loan would've been a nail in his coffin.
Jürgen seems the type, that one he's made his mind up, then that's it. Playing Klavan and Lovren at CB has cost us dearly.

The way Jürgen gets the buy in from his players it goes completely against that so no, what he expects back is the complete opposite to what Mama did

Klavan, Lovren.....  Maldini or Cannavaro... Makes no difference the way we play

He still had a chance to make amends even after refusing the loan mate.  He was named in our 22 man squad at the beginning of September then 3 weeks later had a late night/early morning rant on social media against Jürgen saying he'd lied to the fans about his behaviour.

As you say, that's a complete  for Jürgen.
