      FA Cup 2016/17
      Dec 05, 2016 01:57:43 pm
The 3rd round of the FA Cup will be drawn tonight on BBC2 at 7pm with our very own legend Stevie G doing the draw.

I've highlighted some teams that would be nice local games from the lower leagues and also our most hated rivals.  Hopefully we get an easy ish draw to allow a mostly fringe and Academy team to play and give our main players a much needed rest in what will be a frenetic few weeks of football.

Come Stevie lad, make it a good one  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

I love the third round tie! Would love Barrow or some other lower tiered team. The lowers team I can remember us playing the last 10-15 years or so was Havant and Waterlooville about 9 years ago but I'd love to see us go to some place like Barrow and see Klopp marauding the touchline! And it would guarantee Barrow's financial future for a good few years what with tv money and all.

I want a proper lower league team at home, Eastleigh or Sutton united.

Always good games when they're well up for it.

Good on Stevie for pulling us out for a home draw rather than going to some Somme reenactment. Look forward to it. Should be a grand opportunity for the likes of Woodburn and co.

Man City absolutely slaughtering West Ham tonight 5-0, hammers gave up far too easily very early on in the  game, they could have had 8 !!

Man Utd given a "bye" in this round - but that is enough for the pundits and media to brand them title challengers, and likely silverware winners of the cup.

I mean seriously....  Reading didn't bother to turn up. :lmao:

If Plymouth play like Reading did, then fair enough. Would be nice for the bye.

Reading near top of Championship. Plymouth near top of Div 2. You'll knock at least 4 goals past them no matter how well they play.
