Seems to be sacking season, first Pardew, and now some guy call Bob.

Bob Bradley: Swansea City sack American manager

Swansea City have sacked Bob Bradley after only 85 days in charge of the Premier League club.

The 4-1 home defeat by West Ham on Boxing Day left Swansea four points adrift of safety in the Premier League.

It was their seventh loss in 11 games since Bradley became the first American boss in the top flight after replacing Francesco Guidolin on 3 October.

He managed USA, Egypt and Stabaek in Norway before leaving Le Havre to succeed January appointment Guidolin.

At the time of Bradley's arrival, Swansea were above the relegation zone only on goal difference.

He seemed a bit of an overconfident chap, not that shocked he's gone, I was shocked he was chosen though.

Definitely couldn't argue with Pardew's sacking.  Took Palace backwards and over a full year what did he get - 16 points or something.

As for Bob Bradley - shouldn't have been given the job.  Swansea ludicrously got rid of their last manager too early and they'll probably go down for that decision - not binning Bob.

He got the job because he was a Yank and their owners are Yanks. I'd be worried if our owners started making decisions based on where people are from rather than their ability. Absolute shocking appointment and it was only a matter of time before he went. They seriously need to invest in January and then again in the summer IF they stay up.

That Sunderland job was setup for anyone to fail with the sh*te they have and no one has exactly covered themselves in glory since replacing him at OT.

That said, he probably peaked with Everton. Hope he gets another job in the Premier League*.

Not sure about defending him, he had a tough job but he made it harder than it needed to be. I think he's been found out as a pretty crap manager, he did ok at Everton but in all reality they were punching below their weight, with a good manager and with the players he had they should have done much better.
I do have respect for him for resigning rather than waiting to get sacked, that shows a bit of class because the last think Sunderland needed was to waste money on sacking him OR perhaps there was a clause in his contract that said if relegated then he had to resign.
